I feel burned (pun DEFINITELY intended)

As a dracophile, I want to be able to give this game a higher rating. The reason I can't is because its replay value, while more than 0, is less than 1. I could do without the whole "mash the same buttons to do the same move with a different breath in an unskippable scene" bit too.

Because of this game, I've figured out what it is that bothers me about the "artist's shortcut" of band-scales/scale plates in dragon art: often the scale plates start on the dragon's chest rather than the bottom of the lower jaw, and that is exactly what we see on the dragons here. My philosophy on that is: either draw all of the scales, or none of them. Plus Spyro's horns look more like they're glued to his head rather than growing out of it, and his nostrils look like an afterthought.

It was fun the first time, and until I had all the breaths powered up the second. Now I feel burned. Give Spyro back to Insomniac.

this is one of the best spyro games out there. don't get me wrong there are better but this is a must. if you want a spyro game get this and the first three cause those four are the best.

This game is so easy

This game is so easy. Once you go to rescue Terrador, you get Earth Breath, which doesn't even shoot earth, it looks like this electric stuff. It's not rapid yet.
This game is so easy. Don't get it. It's also too violent and it doesn't have much of a story. It's mostly just fighting, not story.
At first it's frustrating when you go to fin Volteer, Cyril and Terrador, but after awhile you get used to it and it gets really easy.

Shippment was a LITTLE slow, but game in excellent condition

I ordered this game for my son for Christmas. Although the shipment was a LITTLE slower than I expected, it arrived WELL in time for Christmas, and in excellent condition. I am VERY pleased and WILL use this seller again.

Spyro...Super Easy To Beat!!!!

This game, Spyro a New Beginning, was way too easy to win. Not at all like any of the other Spyro games. The voices were cool and the graphics were very good. My 9 year old daughter thinks it was really good, but too easy to beat also. She also agrees that it was too different from the other games. She has replayed it a bunch of times, so it must be some kind of fun. We both enjoyed playing it through the first time. I wish they would make a Spyro game the old fashioned Spyro way!!

Okay, here is what I have to say about the game. Sure, a lot of people may not agree with me, but the truth of the matter is, well, I LOVED this game. It rates third best in all the Spyro games I've played (part 2 being the best and part 1 being the runner up). This game told a spectacular story, which in itself earns a major point from me. I loved the character designs and the all-star cast of voices. Sparx having a voice was a nice touch (although sometimes David Spade's witty quips can come off as annoying more than funny), and I absolutely adored the way Spyro and Cynder were done. They were nicely created. This new story ditches the kiddish, immature brazen Spyro of the past (which I loved) and makes him more mature, serious, innocent, and brave (which I really, really love). On the down side, the game doesn't have much replay value, as the sidequests are gone, as well as the "find all the gems in the game" feature. But that didn't stop me from loving the level designs, the engrossing story, and the awesome personalities of each character. The game was also way too short, but the way it was created does make up for it. I have yet to play the second installment, and I am just chomping at the bit for the third installment (not to mention the movie coming out). All in all, I'd say that the developers are taking Spyro in a fresh, new direction. Stuff it, haters! This game rocks, and I only hope the second trilogy will give us all more of the same.

It is different to the previous Spyros

It is different to the previous Spyros, it is no longer so innocent, requires more dexterities to play it

I LOVED IT!

I loved this game. It has a lot of action and it is sort of hard. It started of easy and it ended hard. I liked the story and the fury moves - those were awesome.
