i've played part of this on my freinds compuer a while back but now i have finally got to play the dreamcast demo version and i love it! it has a great story, graphics, sound ialso really like how when you talk to the towns people they all have spoken dialogue instead of written text until then im gonna be saving my pennies tell this little gem comes out

Silver is everything that can be desired from an Epic.

Not since Secret Of Mana have the play controls of an Epic been this good. Silver, like any good RPG or Epic, places the story first, (a quality not often found in Dreamcast RPGs.) and gives a good story line so that you actually care what happens to the characters. Silver uses the full capacity of the Dreamcast to portray spectacular graphics. The scenes behind the characters are awe inspiring. The demo for Dreamcast was short lived, and had me wishing the game was released. All in all, Silver looks like a promising Epic.

A great RPG

This is an all around entertaining game. The graphics are breath taking, the best on Dreamcast yet. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you have they're second nature. The voice acting is horrendously awful, but it is still the best Dreamcast RPG out there. (note: Grandia 2 and Eternal/ Skies of Arcadia were not out at the time of this review)

the dreamcast`s best so far!

Since the launch of the dreamcast last fall the dreamcast has been hurting for a worthy RPG(role playing game),but silver is a breath of fresh air for the genre. The game sports beautiful graphics and real time battles(you don`t have to take turns),but on the down side the camera angle is alittle to far away for my tastes and the A.I.(artificial intelligence)of the fellow adventures in your group can be frustrating during the battles. All in all though i really had a great time playing this game and that`s what it`s all about, isn`t it!

Dreamcast's Best RPG

This is without a doubt the bast RPG out on Dreamcast right now. It does has a few problems. The story seems weak at points, and sometimes the camera angles make combat tough, but all in all this game is great! If you are thirsty for a Dreamcast RPG pick this one up!

"Silver"

Play as David, a head-strong, sometimes over-confident knight on a mission to reclaim the wife who was taken from him. Wander through the amazingly rendered world of "Jarrah". Throughout the game you are free to roam the land without the constraint of having to complete one mission to move on to the next. There is no given sequence that you have to follow which makes the game more realistic than most RPG's. There is a wide array of weaponry, all with upgrades. Many different types of magic to wield, which only get stronger with frequent use.

The downside to this game would have to be the distance at which you view the action. Being so far away can make battle difficult, especially when trying to take on many creatures at once. The battle controls seem rather awkward at first but become more comfortable in time. All in all this is a really great game, a must buy for an avid action/RPG fan.

Decent if you like squinting

Silver was an okay game except for the fact that everything is so small. Only the main character is relevant, with the others being weak and insignificant. The game was too easy, and I made it through in about 15 hours. Nice looking backgrounds, though.

They should have called it "Stainless Steel".

Silver just doesn't cut it in my opinion. The story line is weak, predictable, and fragmented. The graphics aren't bad, but by no means are they ground breaking. There are also instances where you need binoculars to see the characters because they get so small. I also felt that the play control could have been better arranged. While the game does not fail completely, it does come close. There are just better games to buy with your money, in my opinion.
