rent before you buy

If you look at the reviews of various game sites outside amazon, this games scores pretty badly. I only read the amazon reviews though before purchasing and they seemed to be pretty good. I thought it would be fun to do some 2 player skiing, but you need 2 nunchuks for that and I only have one. This game is not anything like the other snowboarding/skiing games where there are power ups, you go off jumps, build up your character, etc. There seems to be only 1 course/run/trail per activity (skiing, sledding, etc) too, so it gets pretty boring pretty fast. If you're curious still I would rent this game before buying and you can see for yourself.

Boring

I was really disappointed in the quality of this game after reading the reviews. I expected more. The controls are hard to get down. You get the feeling that nothing you do affects what happens. I'm really having a hard time finding good Wii games beyond Wii Sports and Wii Play!

Winter Sports/not hard enought

The game is fun, but, they need to make it more challenging. I think if they had a way to make controls for the feet on this one it would be much better, not that hard to ski with your hands on a video game

Fun game, can be a good work-out if you get into it. The curling is a tough one, but I am still working on it.

Too hard to play.

I bought this game for my 12 year old son who is a big "gamer". He has played the game a few times. He said that it is really hard to play. I come from the generation of the Atari, so I can't provide any feedback. Just thought my son's opinion may help.

Disappointed

Lacks the intuitive control of other Wii games. Some of the games are worthless, ice skating and curling are examples. Others are repetatively boring. I would get my money back if I could.

Disapointing

I was expecting to get some more games in the spirit of Wii Sport but was rather disapointed by this game, as we didn't have much fun playing.
we have tried with the kids (age 10 and 8) the various winter sport and failed to get excited.

Game had potential, but has no lasting entertainment value. Will not come out of the cover often now that Christmas is over.
