This game is worth adding to your GBA inventory. The graphics are great and the sound/background music rocks. This is a side scrolling game that allows for charcter development by customizing your armor,special attack, and powered attacks. It has pleanty of save points and great battles.

Hyperbole aside, this game is o.k. The graphics are o.k. The gameplay is o.k. (are you getting the idea?) Rent it first, before you shell out [price]for a game you may or may not like. Personally I found the super mario cartridge to be much more interesting and addictive.

If someone could tell me how to fend of the snakes and actully get to the first save point maybe I would like this game. This game is very dark and I have a hard time seeing anything without playing in a bright-lightened room. The music is really annoying and I had to finally turn down to sound. This game sounded and looked soo fun at their website but, now that I have it I'm very dissapointed.

This game is by far the BEST Castlevania game I have played.... i beat cerberus (the first boss) and Andrelmech (the 4th or 5th boss, he's the goat guy) and its awsome how they just burn up after you beat them.

The DSS cards (Dual Setup System) are awsome in adding to the gameplay.... ITS AWSOME!!

Castlevania: CoTM is a classic side scroller. You control Nathan Graves as you explore Draculas castle. Its a very exciting, but frusterating, game.

What was to rise in the 15th century would fall the following centuries after onward. Castlevania (Akumajo Dracula) is a symbolic series of immense proportions. The standing metaphors like the clock tower and whip show the detail and intelligence of the game. The music involving classical and baroque textures snatches the ear of the audience. This game is a continuation of the series, yet I know not whence it happened. I consider this a series of modern art as it has always brought both solace and invigorating thought. It is unignorable. I am very pleased with this installment. I read classic literature; I love music and excellent film. I know excellence when I see it. It is a gift that I've always had.

Mann I've said how games are good in 5 words of less but this game is outstanding! Even they did not go all-out on the graphics it still looks like a really good game! If your looking for a really hard game get your gubby hands on this title! The lighting is pretty dark on the game unless you get the right ammount of light and the good angle then your can see the screen. This game is one of the best. I've played this game via my brother's GBA and I was spechless (well i did talk after that though hehe). Three words "This game kicks"!

I've waited ever so long for this, a sequal to the rpg-style of SotN, and I wasn't disappointed. But one thing I really didn't like, ( well two ), but that the DSS card system was unfair, since in 47% through the game, I've only recovered 5 cards! Now, my second main dislike, was of couse, the lightness of the screen. Even with the wormlight, it's still hard to see some enemies at times, that is, if you're not in a pitch dark room with only the wormlight on...heh. Otherwise, this is a MUST OWN, it is a good platformer and enough depth to keep even the most hardkore glued to their GBA screens for hours!

This is an RPG Side-scroller heavy on action with an awesome motif. Think of Legacy of Kain meets metroid meets Zelda. This is a must play for all GBA owners.

This game is far better than any of the previous Castlevania games. It is a MUST HAVE.
