You will rarely see one of my reviews about video games for I only review those who are the best of the best, like this one, for instance. If you have any doubts on buying this videogame, then shame on you. This is possibly top 5 in the list of best games in history ! ! ! ! Go buy this one along with SUPER MARIO WORLD and LEGEND OF ZELDA: CLASSIC NES SERIES. (that's what I did and it worked out really, really well. If you are looking for the best games on GBA than you should also buy MARIO BROS: CLASSIC NES SERIES. Another example of on of the best games in history. Go buy this one right....NOW !

Excellent sequel to the first game

This sequel is consistent in quality and extremely fun to play. The graphics are done well like the first game, and the gameplay is still just as enjoyable as ever. You won't be disappointed if you are interested in purchasing this game. Most sequels fall through the cracks and try to pass by on the success of their predecessor, but this game stands firm on its own. Interesting new characters, interesting new levels, and tougher baddies to defeat that will require a little more dexterity than the first game! Enjoy!

Great Game but a little easy

I've loved donkey kong ever since i was a kid. it just really fasinated me for some reason. I remember getting Donkey Kong Land for the original gameboy. i was a dissappointed that it wasn't more like the game for NES but overall it was ok. then donkey kong land 2 came out. this was much closer to the game and therefore a lot more fun. now the orginial NES games are now for Gameboy Advance and i couldn't wait to enjoy the orginial stuff i hadn't seen in a long time. I still don't have the first game but i got the second game three days ago for christmas. believe it or not i beat the whole game in the period time. it was almost too easy. there were spots were i did get stuck, especially with the bosses. some of the bosses are different from DK land 2 such a the big muscle dude with the club and the dragon dude near the end of the game and some of the technics to bring them down are different as well. there are more enemies as well like the ghosts, the one guy with the large swords, and the cat that throws you all over the place. overall, great game. better and dk land 2, thats for sure. Wish it wasn't as easy though. oh well. i still recommend this game to anyone who loves DONKEY KONG.

I got this game for Easter last year and I'm hooked! I love practically any video game and this is one of my all time favorites. I still haven't got all the bonus barrels or DK coins but I have defeated all the levels. If you are looking for a new game to play I suggest this one.

Good game but an inferior port

If you grew up playing the snes version of this game, you will be pulling your hair out as the play control in this game is a lot worse from the original. In one of the lava levels you used to be able to slide under the bees and dunk under them as you floated on a balloon. Not in the GBA version, this may be due to the pad of the GBA itself Im not sure. But to me it still seems they really screwed up on the play control. Also may of the levels will be harder as the screen is a lot smalelr and many time you cant see where you are landing. Its still a good game but expect a lot of frustration with this and other DKC ports following

This game is cool, but it;s a bit dull. The levels R hard and the bosses R so neat but i really think it's boring. Dixie's hair looks stupid and Diddy's hat is wierd! You should get a better GBA game like, Teen Titans, Yoshi's Island, or Crash Spyro Superpack.

AWESOME!!!

This game is great but I haven't even finished it yet! I've been playing it on and off because of it's difficulty. Otherwise, eveything else is great.
