Nintendo Does it Again

When you think of Nintendo, Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda usually come to mind. However, this new GBA game brings back one of Nintendo's more exotic franchises back into the limelight. It is a great racing game with plenty of features, options, and secrets, and it really shows off the power of your new GBA as well.

You can probably pass the first few courses with little or no training, but one thing you must learn is to tap the A button on turns. This skill is needed to excel in the later races.

Overall, this is this best racing game on the GBA thus far. Skip Mario Advance and get this, if you're into racing at all and enjoy a good challenge.

A great racing game for Game Boy Advanced

At first, alot of people told me that F-Zero: Maximum Velocity was a bad, or stupid game. Since it is still pretty new, I found out that they hadn't played it. My friends from Church who had GBA and have played were playing and having fun. They said it was good. I played it in the car and thought it was pretty cool. I bought it and thought it was great. I will try out the multiplayer feature soon and I am sure it will be cool.

So so at best.

F-Zero for GBA is very dissapointing. I was looking forward to a nice, fast, cool racer, but what came out was a fast, hard, frustrating racer. The game is insanely difficult after you beat standard class, and it seems to get very repetitive after a while. I would suggest getting another game at launch.

Man, i thought the super nintendo's version was good, but this just kicks butt! The more you play, the more you can do, the more you can beat, you can get better vehicles along the way all the way to the mysterious Jet Vermilion! so far (as of 6-28-01) i have only gained the Sly Joker, the easiest car to get. If you do play this game, i reccomend the J.B. Crystal for your choice. It has the best balance meaning it will not skid much, and has a great boost. The sly joker is even better than the J.B. Crystal!

I think that this is one of the best GBA launch games. It is easy to play, you dont get bored of it fast,Its fast paced without thousands of those fusturating and impossibly annoying puzzles, and the multiplayer mode is awsome especially since you can play with one game pack.Defiantly a must have for true GBA gamers.

2 modes x 4 difficulties x 10 cars x 20 tracks = variety!

What can I say but "wow." All my life I've searched for the perfect handheld. My first word was "tetris." F-Zero beats Mario Advance to the ground. Even after beating every tournament I still had to collect the coolest crafts. Trading times with your friends adds to the competitive aurora of the game. Anyone that complains about the single pack multiplayer can choke. I don't see why anyone would have a GBA without this game anyway. Even if you dispize racing, this is the perfect game for the GBA.

This game is everything you could want it to be. With different levels of difficulty (beginner, standard, expert, and master), and a lot of different vehicles (Stingray, Sly Joker, Jet Vermilion, and Hot Violet are a few), it is definitely a best buy. Plus, if you have one game pack and multiple consoles, it opens up a new track (Silence Open Circuit) and a new vehicle (nameless). Each vehicle has its own pluses and minuses. For example, one could be the fastest, but then perform poorly in tight turns. This was the first game I got it was so good.

Great, Hard, and Graphicly better then ever....

This is the third F-Zero in the series, the First on the snes, second on the N64 called F-Zero X, and then there is this. This has to be one of the HARDEST games on the GBA, though the learning curve is easy to master, the CPU is a work of art, its AI is only beaten by BLACK and WHITE.

Graphics

F-Zero Maximum Velocity has tremendous car detail, considering the cars look 3-D, and move seemlessly on the courses. The courses are acctually better than the SneS version.

Sound

This has an execlent sound track, much much better then the anoying music on tony hawk. You can hear your engine pur as you rev up for a boosted start.

Gameplay

F-Zero has graet gameplay, with great controls, R and L edge, A accelatrate, B brake, and execlent response in the game, no pauses or any thing.

Secrets

There are many secrets to this game, such as hidden cars, courses, Circuits, modes, and skill levels, this game sould last a few car trips.

Overview

if you have a GBA get THIS GAME, it is truley a gem to be marveld at, and if you ever bet it, the satisfaction is UNBELIVEBLE!!!!

This was the first game I got for Gameboy Advance. It it so awesome!! There really aren't that many different vehicles, but you get used to it.It can be sort of frusterating at times, but the graphics really show off GBA's power!I highly reccomend this game.
