My son is 6 and he is a gameboy addict so to say that only older children play gameboy is false. My daughter is 4 and my friend's son is 3 and they too are addicts. SO this game is perfect for them.

Great Game!

This game is great! I really liked the Sulley screams and the laugh canister. Sulley looks great on the GBA! So does Boo and Mike. I wish I could play Mike like the GameBoy Color version.

The Door Puzzles were fun!

My favorite level was the Sushi Restaurant!

This game is awsome!I got it for Christmas and have been playing it since then. The game is hard to save because you must write in certain codes to get back were you last played. It also seems to easy for an experienced player, but I found it to be a good game.

Very nice game!

My 5 year old son got the Game Boy Advance for his birthday. Monsters Inc. was one of the games he received. He carries it EVERYWHERE he goes. He doesn't understand the complete concept of the game yet, but he's learning. I've found myself playing it often also. It's a fun game even for myself. But, (always a "but" right?) I think it is extremely helpful if you saw the movie first (like we do almost every weekend ;).

Fan of the movie? Check it out!

I'm an avid fan of Monsters, Inc. as well as a long time video game enthusiast, and I can say that I honestly enjoyed my romp through this game. Though it doesn't take very long to complete, it accurately captures the fun and feel of the movie that fans of all ages are sure to enjoy.

The gameplay consists of standard action/adventure fare. Sulley is to find a number of particular items scattered across different areas, including pieces of Boo's door, laugh cannisters, Boo's teddy bear, etc. Find 100 pieces of candy for an extra life - sound familiar? There is nothing groundbreaking here, but it isn't a chore to play as it controls extremely well and the levels are laid out very well.

The graphics and animation are top-notch for a GBA game, as Sulley and just about every other character in the game are animated very clearly and smoothly.

Bottom Line - If you enjoyed the movie, there is an excellent chance you will enjoy this game - especially the younger bunch.

MY SON GOT THIS FOR HIS BIRTHDAY, OK HE IS 12, AND HE SAYS THIS IS TOO BABY A GAME FOR HIM TO PLAY BUT HIS YOUNGER COUSINS LOVE IT, IT IS FUN FOR THE YOUNGER KIDS BUT NOT ENOUGH FOR THE OLDER KIDS WHO AS THEY SAY ARE GAMEBOY ADDICTS...ITS A FUN GAME FOR ME TO PLAY BUT FOR THOSE WITH EXPERTISE ON THE GAMEBOY, GET SOMETHING HARDER THAT WILL NOT BORE THEM QUICKLY

Sweet Game

I bought this game after seeing Disney's Monters Inc. in theatres and I was amazed to see that this game is just like the movie! You play as Sulley, the big blue monster who is searching for the lost Boo and you have to get her to safety. You can explore 20 different levels in search of door pieces scattered about which help you find Boo. When Sulley is faced against an evil monster, he can use his loud, powerful roar or his effective Laugh Launcher. After beating certain levels and accomplishing special tasks you can play in bonus mini-games and fun puzzles.

My best advice is to buy this game for it's element of fun, long-lasting gameplay, and the fact that it is just like the movie.

this is a very short game that is mainly about running through the levels as fast as you can. You CAN NOT kill the bad guys only scare and stun them. over all it stinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, it's not that bad...

Well, I have to say, I did get irritated with the game when I could get past the last 2 levels. I tossed it aside and didn't touch it for a week. Then I decided to give it another shot and guess what? I finished the game! So, if you didn't like it or couldn't get past it the first time, try again. It may really get you hooked. I know I did. And I didn't even like the movie.
