Save your money and Don't buy this game.

I was lucky to get this game as a present because I would have really wasted my money.
The game was fun for the first 30 minutes but it quickly went downhill. The same music starts to get annoying and the cars are hard to control because of your point of view in the game. And instead of just saving it give you passwords to write down and memorize. All you do in this game is just...drive!
I quickly get bored with this game and I'm even thinking of selling this game to salvage some of the wasted money.

Don't Buy this game.

why was this game made....

Why was this game made from the outset, the graphics were too the standard of a gameboy color, the controls are pants it doesn't feel like you are driving a car, more like a stick of wood. The sound is choppy and when you playing the game youlle think.... what the hell is going on, it pathetic don't waste your time on this.

Terrible...not worth the money

I usually don't write reviews, and I try to keep things on the positive side, but I felt it was my duty to warn other consumers about this video game. I read the review previous to mine and thought I'd take a chance since it had received such a high rating. The screen shots on the package made it look like Grand Theft Auto (which I really like). But much to my dismay, the graphics were bad, the sound was bad, and the gameplay was subpar...not exciting at all. You don't have to take my word for it, though. Buy it yourself and maybe you'll agree that this is one of the weakest games I've seen produced for the GameBoy Advance. Luckily, I was able to return it and get my money back.

A little game that could have been

I picked up this game because I liked the PS2 version of Midnight Club Street Racing, which resembled the popular Midtown Madness series. (No wonder, because they were developed by the same company.) This GBA port utilizes an overhead view like that in Grand Theft Auto and GTA 2. You start as a taxi driver in New York and must race your way up the Midnight Club ladder. When you win the New York races, you unlock the city of London.

Contrary to what the box claims, the street models of New York are not accurate at all. After playing for almost a week I still can't figure out what the streets are. The controls are very straightforward, making the game easy to play, but sometimes you head down (toward the bottom) and that makes turning a bit confusing. The races are generally easy to beat.

This game makes a good flight companion. Otherwise it lacks depth and killer graphics. Get it if you find a used one or at a discount.

OK, but not that good.

I bought this game in hopes that it would be more like GT Advance, but it's not. In fact, you race in an above view. I don't really care for those types of games, but I'm not trying to say this is a really bad game. It's ok I guess, but no where near as good as the PS2 version. The whole idea of the game is a little screwy, and the graphics aren't super great either. But all in all it's not that bad a game for GB Advance.

One of the best (I think)

I bought this game last thurs. and i'm hooked on it. I think its one of the best racing games for GBA. I was a little dissapointed about the overhead view. But the game it self was fun. The PS2 version was better.

I rented the Midnight Club for the Xbox and found it really fun. I've been thinking about buying the game but I'm looking for one used or when the price goes down. I went to a local game store and saw this game. I thought it would be like the Xbox game but actually it's pretty lame. It's like playing Grand Thief Auto and you can't even get the car to drive straight most of the time. I didn't find it very fun and I think I should of just kept my money. Not worth it in my mind. I don't mind selling it to someone else.
