I love Phantasy Star II!

I love Phantasy Star II. It was my favorite game for the Genesis I had once upon a time. Now it's back on the GameBoy Advance and it's a carbon copy of what I remember. :)

It also has the original Phantasy Star I and Phantasy Star II which I never played. Well I just started playing it and so far so good. I just wish I had a hint book. The original game when I played it came with a nice hint book which I've lost year ago. The dungeons are going to be tough without the maps and hints but I guess that means I'll just be spending more time in them.

Let's a lot of adventure here folks if you like good classic RPG!

Phantastic!

This is great. I'm kinda new to the Phantasy Star series, but I like what I see! I really love this set! Definately worth the 30 dollars. I'm hoping to check out PSIV soon, which wasn't included in this set. I hear it's hard to come by, but I'm sure I'll find a copy. Anyway, do pick this title up! You won't be dissapointed!

This game is just a must have

This game is great. The ports are excellent. With three huge vintage RPG's on one little cartridge, your going to play this for a long time.

Great game collection for Old-Schoolers

Before Dragon Warrior or Final Fantasy was released in US, Sega brought this game called Phantasy Star for ill-fated Sega Master System. With power of SMS, this game was one of most stunning 8-bit game ever made, but only to be shelved due to lack of support.
Years after, Phantasy Star stretched to 4th installment, and this series captured those who played for having one of most memorable storyline, combined with unusal futuristic setting.
For those who never played them, this collection bring first 3 games of Phantasy Star.
This is very faithfully emulated game. You shouldn't expect any improvement on game. While there are some glitches (such as Saving Crash on PS I, watered down sounding PS II), purist will definately find this game compelling.
This collection leaves something to be desired. Absence of PS IV, which is considered the best of the series by many players is one reason for me to give this 4 stars instead of 5. However, if you call yourself RPGamer, you need to give this collection a try.
Be aware, PS III is radical departure to this series.

Only if you have played rpg before and are older than 30 years old, i can really recommend it. If you are younger you are probably better off with golden sun.

Once i plugged in ps1 i was hooked, bewitched, wow this is soo much better than eotb or zelda. Hard to get, in holland, it was 50 euro but i do not regret that i bought it.

I am very happy that i read all the amazon reviews beforehand and guys you are right!

This ROCKS!!

The smartest decision ever!! Who would have knew that Gameboy Advance used all the intelligence in the world to bring to you the most revered and most incredible RPG ever created!! Phantasy Star 1 was the reason sega kicked butt over the wimpy Ninetendo!!
I remember back in the 80's laughing at all the losers who bought a ninetendo. Sega master was the leader, until Sony brought out their Playstation! Remember the 3-D glasses!! Well, those days are over with, but Phantasy Star in all its glory is back with a vengenance!! This game is the reason Ninetendo will always be the loser!!! lol I even endorse the Advance, and give the kudos it deserves!!! Keep up the good work!!

don't get it !

I DEFINATELY wouldn't get this unless u r a SERIOUS RPG player. The graphics are terrible and the gameplay isnt good. It gets old extremely fast.I just got it the other day and Hated it. I'm turning it in to get a Better game, and if u have it, u should 2.
