If you like puzzles, you will like this

If you like doing puzzles, you will like this. Its puzzles are more intricate than Tetris and success depends on thought rather than speed. There are bunches of levels and four different modes and the password option allows you to skip levels at which you have already succeeded. Its a very fun game.

Puzzles not your thing? Try the game anyway!

I am an extreme gaming fanatic, but usually puzzle games aren't my thing. I still decided to try RAMPAGE... and LOVED it! The concept is very, very easy, and it is easy to get good at.

The game is somewhat like tetris, but instead of fitting pieces together in a row, you must match the same color of blocks, and erase them by using special blocks called "detoblocks"

The best part of the game is a mode called : "puzzle mode." In puzzle mode, one gets a fixed amount of turns to eliminate ALL blocks.

Overall, this is an addictive game with better graphics than most puzzlers. My one and only complaint is that one must use a password save; it is very annoying (especially in this game) because every level (which I may add are very short)has a new password.

Stick with Tetris

I'm a fan of the arcade game "Rampage" so when i saw they had made a puzzle game for "Rampage", I was abit skeptical that it was anything like Tetris (and I love Tetris). I got myself a copy and not to my surprise, i was very unimpressed. The game itself is unchallenging and not as intense as Tetris. The premise of the game is also silly if not lacking. It's basically a puzzle game using characters from the popular "Rampage". Although you get to choose your characters, it does not effect the gameplay at all. And like the Playstation version, you are allowed to retreive saved games with passwords. However, unlike the PS version, the password is very long.

I didn't give it a one star because younger kids may like this game. Like i had mentioned before, it's not all that challenging. Although it might be for younger audiences.

Good way to kill time

if your a big rampage fan then don't buy this it's not like any of the others. But if you like Tetris or just puzzle games you might be impressed with this game. It was ok but not as fun as the others.

Password is Annoying!

This is a great puzzle game and would be well worth 5 stars if this game didn't have passwords for each level. This is a GBA game, shouldn't we be pass the password stage? I have just finished level 4 and in the beginning I thought this game would be easy. Boy was I wrong. Around level 4 things begin to pick up and the game becomes more the puzzle game I was expecting. The best way to compare this game is to Tetris 2 because of the matching colors and the stars, but really I haven't met any comparison to this game.
The really neat thing about this game is of course the monsters. They climb up and down the puzzle grid which can be really cool and the noises they make are great. As the game goes along you pick up more monsters to pick from and they all have their different quirks as they go up and down the puzzle grid. For those who are fans of puzzles, keep playing the game and it will become addictive. Just realize, passwords are annoying but it can be fun just to watch the different monsters and their different antics, especially on the rescue stage, which is a lot of fun just to watch the monsters.
If you hate passwords, though, stay away from this game because as I said, GBA and still have passwords. I don't think so. If passwords don't bother you, then this is a great puzzle game.
