Do not buy this game ever. it's so stupid. If you had a 3 year old son or brother or sister even they would pass it without breaking a sweat. Rather buy Tony hawk 4, mario advance 3, denki blocks or even snoopy tennis for GBC. I hope that this review will be helpfull. Remember DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

My 6 1/2 year old son saw an ad for GameBoy Advance games, and insisted on Super Monkey Ball Jr. After purchasing it, we found the game much too difficult for him, and pretty darned hard for me (and I'm a major games player). We had to return this game and go with something a little easier for him to play. Even so, this game is still an enjoyable game, but you need a whole lot of patience.
Also, another problem I had with this game is that there is no good way to save your game progress. You can "save and quit", returning to the same spot you stopped, but if you mess up and want to reload your saved game, it's impossible. If you get to Level 14 and lose all your lives, you have to start again at Level 1, since you cannot load a previously saved game. I found this very frustrating, since so many other GBA games give you "save game slots", so that my son can have his saved game and I have my own.
All in all, I would say that if you have a lot of time and a LOT of patience, you might find this game fun.

good game

Fun game. The graphics are pretty good. There's only a couple complaints that I have. Some levels are almost impossble to beat! You can't jump or anything and on some levels, there's a gap on the floor. I tried going back as far as I could and shot forward, trying to gain speed to get over the gap. It didn't work. And I'm not too bad at video games either. There just might be some way to get over that gap that I just don't know yet. Even though the Main Game is the funnest thing on the game in my opinion, there still is other things that you can do. If you get a certain number of points on the Main Game, then you can un-lock other mini-games: Monkey Golf, Monkey Bowling, and Monkey Fighting. This game is still worth the price, though.

I really don't like the game because it is difficult to play.

We all loved the GCN version of this game. Now, you can take it anywhere you want! This is basically the same as the GCN Monkey Ball, except for the graphics. It still has what makes the game unique, the courses and the mini-games. Buy this game and start monkeying 'round!!!!

Extremely Addictive!

I'ts easy to get hooked on this game. It's one of those games that's drive-you-crazy irritating but in a good way. It's addicting the same way Frogger is: Your ball might fall off the path a million times, but you'll STILL be trying that same level over and over again, just like in the old Frogger game, when you kept getting squished by that stupid fast car but you kept going back! I try to beat out my friend's scores all the time, so this game never gets old. I even got this game for my phone. The included mini games are a great bonus; I love the bowling. The monkeys look so cute going down the alley!

Great Puzzle/Skill Game

For those of you that like skill/puzzle games, you should definitely check this one out. The object of the main game is to roll the monkey ball through increasingly harder tracks until you get to the goal. There are also some mini-games that are fun as well.

The original Monkey Ball games on the Cube are great, and this one is too. It's easier to earn play points on this game than it predecessors. Some of the upper levels are ridiculously hard, but that's what I like: a challenge. A lot of GBA games today are too easy (I'm 23 years old) for older people ... this one definitely isn't!

Monkeyball Jr. has all the fun & addictiveness of the console versions - just abbreviated a little. I just wished the makers would of added monkey target to the mix (my favourite mini-game)other than that, it is by far one of the best titles GBA has to offer. No more has to said about this one....Go Get It!!!
