Nice classic remake.

It may seem a bit simple and short for games of today's standard. However it is not a new game, it's a remake of one of the old Cinemaware games that came out for the Amiga and Apple. Looks like a faithful copy. It is a neat fun little game. So if you like the stooges or want to try something different that's not challenging, give it a try. Not a complex game at all, just a cute one.

This is a very fun game. I had this game for the original nes and i still play it sometimes. It is 2 players and has lots of many games you play. The object of the game is to save the orphanage. Some of the games are: soup eating, pie throwing, boxing, doctor, trivia, etc. I might buy this game, but I'm not sure, since it is a direct port, although upgraded in graphics, of the game i already have.

Who decided to dig up THIS corpse?

Just a word of caution, or rather a year:

1987

That is when Cinemaware originally released this game for PC waaay back in the day. Now I fully realize that Nintendo has really climbed aboard the reissue bandwagon with its Game Boy Advance (Final Fight One, Street Fighter II, F-Zero, etc) but do we really need to be plumbing the depths of 1st-generation PC games for new old material?

I gave this game 3 stars because, as far as gameplay goes, it isn't totally bad. The game is made up of several mini-games, most of which are very simple and child-friendly. Except for the Trivia portion, which I don't believe they actually left in the game, bizarre! It's fun on a very base and whack-a-mole level. Do well enough in each mini-game to earn enough money to save the orphanage.

I honestly thought it was a joke the first time I read that this game was being released, but here it is. I think we all need to start being very scared about what direction Nintendo is taking with its cutting-edge portable. Hint: "It's the opposite of forward."

I love the Stooges. I have 30-odd of their movies, I have their picture framed on my wall. I bought this game as a matter of course but took it back the next day because it was so bad.

The mini-games are very repetitive. The grocery store and the hospital are essentially the same games in different trim. I never could figure out the soup game and switching between stooges in the pie throwing was a real pain.

The only good points were the trivia (which was almost fun) and hearing the clips from the movies (though they got old because there are not vary many).

This game had a place back in the 80's when it came out. Compared with the games coming out today, it doesn't measure up.

Fun? Why soitanly!

It's great to be able to play this game again! This was an awesome, innovative game when it first appeared on the Amiga computer. It may not be as difficult as many of today's games, but it is still a lot of fun -- a silly kind of fun that isn't currently found on other games for the GBA. Hey, it's the Stooges -- they're not challenging... they're silly, goofy and entertaining! Where else can you throw pies, slap, pull hair, get squirted by oysters, see a safe break open on Curly's head, and control Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine and Dr. Howard? ...and all for a good cause -- to save an orphanage!

Nyuk,Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk!!!

Pie throwing, hair pulling, safe breaking,... and why? to save an orphanage of course!! Overall, I found this game pretty fun, although the mini-games do get a bit repetitive. I'll give the game 4 out 5 stars, because I really think that there should have been an option to switch Curly with Shemp at certain times during the game. The movie clips were good, although a little on the not numerous side. To those who found the game a complete wash out, i say cut them (The Stooges, and Nintendo) a little slack. I'm just glad that they came out with it. Who knows what's next, maybe Laurel and Hardy?! If you want slapsitck comedy, and are willing to stretch your patience a tad, this game is a gem!!!

The Three Stooges have always been my favorite comedy team. So when I heard that they were coming out with a new Three Stooges Game Boy Advance game, I was thrilled! So I bought the game, and believe me, I was so happy that I got this game! This game features many of my favorite things that I see while watching the Stooges. There is the oyster contest, which is seen in the short "Dutiful But Dumb". There is also the boxing match, where Larry breaks his violin while trying to play "Pop Goes The Weasel", and he has run to the radio store to get a radio playing Curly's fighting song before the six rounds of boxing are up. There is also pie fighting, hospital chasing, and many more things to do. I recommend this to people who love the Three Stooges and who also love playing video games. This is the best!

I loved the game on the original Nintendo and also like the GBA version. Now I don't have to keep hooking up my original Nintendo player to play the game! Don't miss out on this one!
