It will change the way you think about Disney Games

After playing this game for an hour straight, completely unaware that any time has gone by, lost in the pure thrill and vivid scenery of this masterpiece, one remembers something a little odd: this is a Disney game.

Disney's Extreme Skate will change the way people think about Disney games. A witty script with unrelentingly talented voice work accompanies the extreme - for lack of a better word - gameplay. As opposed to what some other reviews state, the list of playable characters are those from the films The Lion King, Tarzan, and Toy Story 2, with modern customizable characters.

This game is PERFECT for kids, teenagers, and even adults will appreciate it.

Bottom Line: It will change the way you think about Disney games, and even skating games. Thrilling. Wonderful.

This is a VERY FUN game

Play as Woody, Buzz, Jessie, Zurg, Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Pumbaa/Timon, Tarzan, Jane, Terk, or Tantor in these brightly-colored superfun levels. This game is very very similar to Tony Hawk 4 just easier for kids. My younger brother bought it but I'm the one that's been playing it the most. I'm still trying to complete all the goals and some of them are hilarious

Activision has done it again!

We all know about the tony hawk series. but this is a game that is well lets say a disney version to it. yep its D.E.S.A short for Disney Extreme Skate Adventure. its a fun filled game with all your favorite disney charecters and a couple u may not know. u start off in olliwood the real world level of the game. u go around town doing goals for the townspeople and earing items to put on ur costom skater. and u find secret places to teleport u to another level!the controls are like the one in tony hawk's pro skater 4! so its easy to remember the controls. i bought this game for a preety cheap price and this game is worth every penny! so i think u should buy it to!

Great Game!

This was purchased for my 5 year old. Its the first game we bought for her when she received her gamecube this past xmas. I read the reviews on Amazon.com and saw that it did well so I went ahead and purchased it. Its a true hit. She loves it, and boy am I glad because gamecube games are not cheap. I couldnt tell you anything about how the game works because I never played it, but it is obviously easy enough for a 5 year old to use, and she adores all the characters.

Definitely Fun For All Ages

We originally bought this game to try to get my six year old son to PLAY a game. He loves to watch my husband play games and "help" him out. My husband ended up loving the game and enjoyed playing all of the different characters in the different backgrounds and levels. My son played a little and so did I. It was easy to do tricks even when you didn't know what you were doing. My son would hit buttons and whiz around for a while. Very enjoyable game and the music wasn't bad either. My husband ended up buying a CD or two from the tracks. I would recommend this for anyone who likes non-violent games and anyone who enjoys Disney characters.

Love it!

This game is tons of fun and the customization features for the characters is amazing. You can choose a predesigned charcater (Simba, Buzz Lightyear, ect.) or you can create your own skater from scratch. Nearly everything on your skater is customizable. It's great! This game is easy enough for my three year old to navigate and yet still held appeal for my husband and me. The goals in the game range from super easy to super hard and we had a great time working towards all of the goals in the levels. Great graphics - great fun - definetly worth the money!

A great game, even for youngsters

We rented this game initially. I get so frustrated with games labeled "E" for everyone, only to watch my 7 year old daughter get frustrated at every turn and end up tossing the game to the side. This game, even without the instruction book, on account of it being a rental, was very easy to pick up. When she didn't feel like playing (which wasn't very often), we'd detail the outfits and equipment! Once we got the concept that every trick was a direction and button combination, picking up everything else was easy. I even enjoy playing it, and usually I just don't get these games. She's doubly thrilled that mom will play with her. So now that the rental has been returned to the store, I'm here to order it for keeps. Highly recommended!

This game is fun!

Okay this is a pretty good game, most appropriate for a young crowd with its Disney themes and controls seem a little bit easy, I suppose compared to normal Tony Hawk. I'm finding the two player games to be extreeeemely fun: King of the hill is hilarious as your opponent tries to catch you once you have possession of the "star" thing. It think because some of the levels are pretty wild shapes it can be tough to catch the "star" holder. Try and and catch me you poor sucker hahahah!

I also found that after I turned the music OFF (the songs weren't my favorites :P ) there were some cool ambient level sounds to be heard and the level environments felt more alive/atmospheric?

EXCELLENT GAME FOR ALL AGES!
