Great Game

This game is a lot like the computer game released by BLizzard Entertainment, Diablo II(one of the best games ever along with Starcraft, Starcraft: Brood War, and Warcraft III Reign Of Chaos) and is a must have for anyone who enjoyed Diablo II. I feel that this game was well made and has very nice graphics and is enjoyable to play. Also when you lose you don't get frustrated in this game, instead you want to try, again, and again till you get it! I highly recommend purchaseing this game it is a must have for a dedicated gamer.

If you like Zelda, you will love this game. It is much like a Zelda game except you get the option of what type of player to be. You can choose from a wizard, a warrior, a dwarf, and a knight, and those are just the male characters.

Nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing terrible either

There are a ton of games like this, just walking around, aimlessly holding the attack button and killing thousands of enemies. And there's one thing in common with all of them: they're boring. The same can be said about this game, except for the multiplayer mode. I first played this game at a friend's house, and I loved it, but when I got it for myself, I didn't get the same response that I did previously. If you live somewhere entirely remote, or have no friends, you will hate this game.

With that said, the game did have various key points. I liked it because of the teamwork, character system, and level designs. For example, most of the levels are expansive and interesting, not just a narrow corridor with keys, gates, and enemies. Also, unlike its PS2 counterpart, there was an accessible inventory, which took the aggravation out of having to use your items the moment you get them. But, the PS2 version also had visible health meters for some of the stronger enemies and bosses. This game does have a choppy framerate at times, but I've only encountered it in the tower level select, which wasn't anything big. There is a lot of options in this game, making it more than just any hack and slash game. On certain enemies, you can do various things to get out of a jam: use a regular attack, use a power attack (slower but stronger), use magic potions, use a turbo boost, use a combo attack, use various items, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I'd rate it as follows:
CONCEPT: 3/5 Hack and slash game with EXP, bosses, and 16 playable characters.
GRAPHICS: 3/5 They weren't all that good, it easily could have found a worthy spot on the N64.
SOUND: 3/5 Typical arcade quality. They could have gone farther to improve it, especially the repetitive level music.
GAMEPLAY: 4/5 Fun at first, but gets really boring.
ORIGINALITY: 1/5 It doesn't take much to go around killing guys for no reason.
PLOT: 2/5 There are a lot of games with a plot like "evil dude releases minions to destroy the world"
REPLAY VALUE: 4/5 Having no plot, it is easy to replay, like SSB Melee for example.

But even with all of the good in the game, it isn't a must buy. Rent it as a party game with your friends or something, but there are better ones out there, if not hack and slash medieval games with no plot. A typical arcade game. But should it have stayed there? That's where you decide.

This game is fun

When I first layied eyes on this game I thought it was stupid looking. Then when I started playing it with my friends it was awsome! The hack slash co-op mode is so cool. I just love leveling up and seeing what new look my hero gets. On the bad side though this game has horrible graphics, no wonder it's a direct n64 port. And after a while this game gets really boring. I recomend this to people looking for a really long action game.

This Game is okay. U pick a char and u [destroy].... There isn't a huge story to this game but i'd still buy it. U pick a class of character. U [destroy] and gain levels. When u hit lvl 30 u get a familiar that flys over ur shoulder and shoots with you. each character has unique familairs. there are even secret characters you need to unlock. ratings:
Graphics: 9/10 not a huge improvement from N64

Gameplay:8/10 solo , 10/10 multi. its really much more fun with other people to play with.

Sound: 8.5/10 the music can get annoying but its not too bad.

Story: 9/10 fairly okay story and plot.

Replay: 10/10 u beat it as 1 character then u can pick another
class and work that 1 up.

Overall: 8.5/10. its okay but i'd still buy it. ...
