This game stinks!!

It was hard to control and move around. The graphics are ok. Bad camera views. The whole set up blows.
If you want a fun game that is easy to learn and do a lot in try Max Payne or Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. I couldn't even get past the first few levels until I gave up and sold it.

Fun to begin with, but gets boring

While it's loads of fun running around blasting people (forget stealth) and even more fun sniping from great distances, I found this game to get a bit boring about halfway through. There's just no variation on the gameplay between levels.

Plus the game is basically a first person shooter, something I have grown VERY tired of. And even though there are loads of weapons to choose from, they basically all do the same thing. The Revolvers and Ballers were cool, blasting people halfway across the screen, but there is no breathtaking violence. How about limbs coming off, or decapitations or amputations when you whack someone with a fireaxe?

It's an easy game and always available cheap. Get it for a quick rush but don't expect a classic.

Good game but very annoying

I read the synopis of the game and it sounded good. Boy was I wrong! This game totally blows. My eyes get tired of trying to find where to go after a few trys. Without a map on screen while playing, its not much of a game. The area is all dark, so you cant tell where you are going. After learning how to play, it was still boring and I just gave up on it. I felt bad because I shelled out 20 bucks for this game, and its not even great as people say. Maybe ill learn to like it, but my eyes will have to adjust to the screen first.

Great port of a great game!!

It's a great game, and although it is a great port, it never is quite as good as if it was made explicitly for the system.

Semi linear shooter and RPG

It was easy enough for me to get used to the control scheme but have a friend who has the game to and he could never get used to the controls so some will get it and for others it will be awkward. The missions can range from intuitive to needing a guide or internet help. Fun but not really breaking any new ground. Recommended if you are looking for an RPG with shooter elements but not recommended if you are looking for a shooter.

Just as awesome as it was on PS2 and XBOX.

This game is just as awesome as it was on PS2 and XBOX. The graphics are great, with realistic looking weapons, and some gory effects. The game can be played using stealth tactics, or the all guns blazing approach. The game is definetely not for kids, also due to the game's difficulty. Simply put, this game can get hard! Some levels boil down to a complex game of trial and error. However, the game is very open-ended. each of the missions can be played several times, each time having a different experience. If you own it already, this Gamecube port has little new, outside of 1 new mission and slightly smoother graphics. If you do not own it, buy immediately!

in the game Hitman 2, you become the role of a retired assassin. Now, I dont want to give away the storyline of the game but it takes you to various places in the world, in which you must do mission such as assassination, sabotage of different technology and many other objectives. Throughout the game, you have access to huge amounts of weaponry such as assault rifles, pistols, submachineguns, and sniper rifles. In this game, you are able tochange your clothes acording to those that soldiers or civilians wear to get to your target. This is one of the most realistic games I have ever seen for a game consol. There are many more reasons why this game is so awsome but the 1,000 word limit here would not allow me to write them all.

Out Of Them All

I have over 60 games and soon over 70. I have every shooting game I can buy and every other action, adventure, survival horror game their is but their is one that stands out, Hitman 2 Silent Assassin. I saw this game and knew their was something that was going to be diffrent about it. I bought it when it came out and was I ever right. This game has just something special about it that no other game can compete with. The graphics are just perfect in their own way and the level setup can't get better. The Nintendo Gamecube version I was reading the other day came out after the Xbox and PS2 versions and that Eidos put more time into the Gamecube version then any other, which is great. The sound is cool and a high point is not every gun sounds the same. Actually you here about 12 diffrent things in one level from cars, guns, talking, mice, walking, breathing, and alot more. The game is loaded with weapons and their all completely loaded and ready to go. Their is one level which has a wierd glitch which you must outsmart within the game itself which is hard but that is the second to last level. I could go on and on about this game but no words could even compare with you playing the game. Try it, buy it, rent it, burrow it I don't care just make sure you try it.

A real challenge

To think that Hitman 2 is an action shooter is a big mistake. If what you want is to go out and star killing everything in plain sight buy a XBOX or a PS2, there TONS of games like that for those consoles... anyway, the real thing about Hitman 2, what makes it really special, is the fact that is more like a puzzle.

The challenge is to make the hit without having to kill anyone else but the target. You just CANT go out shooting everyone cause most times it just wont work. The game requires thinking and patiens.

For blood thirsty players these is the "wrongest" game there can be. For players that love inteligent and elegant gaming, you must at least rent these one. Its a true challenge.

Better Than Splinter Cell

I bought Splinter Cell last month and I beat it in a week.
I liked the game and everything was awsome on it bt it just was boring some reason. Well anyways I thought huhh try Hitman 2 and I did right off I liked it more. The graphics, sound, guns, wow the guns and the things you can do. You can swap clothes with anyone. The levels are amazing and the gameplay is the best ever in a game.
