the worst game ever

mario golf is an awful game.Only 4 secret characters boo, shadow mario, pirrahea piranha, and baby bowser. The game was so limited there was barely anything to do besides for golfing. Stars characters seems pretty damn stupid. The game was very boring and not one bit fun.

beware - the game might be good - I don't know - the service definately is not!

I am really upset by what happened to me. And there appears to be no recourse at all. I do not have American equipment to play this game. Usually when I select produts from the Amazon site I am warned of potenial conflicts if purchasing from outside USA. That is great and I appreciate it. Only this time this game was supplied by a merchant who do not issue such warnings. So I purchased the game confident it would work because there were none of the normal warnings. Almost 80 dollars later the game arrives and is useless. When I queried this with the merchant ( gamestop) they simply said "well the warning is on the website". That's great - but I did not buy it from their website - I bought it from amazon and when you click "buy" on Amazon Gamestop automatically process without warning or without advising you to go to their website first and read their disclamiers. That is just blatantly unfair in my books. If Amazon can do this why can't they and Amazon, why do you guys not insist on this? It can't be that difficult for them to recognise an address outisde of the USA and immediately send a warning? I was also peeved that Gamestop automatically allocated this purchase to "expedited" courier - I did not want that extra cost but there was nothing I could do about that either. All in all - really sloppy. Left a really bad taste in my mouth - not that keen to buy from Amazon again as a result - and I know that is unfair because I have had good service and resluts from Amazon in the past - but once you get this burnt you just don't feel that good again.

Mario Golf could very well be the WORST game of all time! It's slow, it's repetitive, it's boring. I played this game for 7 minutes and it seemed like i keep play the same holes over and over again. The controls weren't very good, not much to this game. The graphics are what you'd expect from Gamecube, but thats about all the good things i can say about this game. If you must play, RENT it, if it's over 2 dollars to rent skip it, or i'll sell you mine dirt cheap!!
I HATED THIS GAME!

Sweet mario golf!

BORING

This is the most boring game I have ever played for game cube. The techniques are extremely difficult, for example, if you don't hit a certain button at the right time, its an automatic screw up. The game looks nice though, I'll give it that. The game just feels slow and repetitive. I'm so glad that I rented it and didn't buy it. But this is just my opinion. If you like golf, this might be a great game for you. I think I just disliked this game because I think golf is just boring.

I have one thing to say about this game, BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING. This game is fun at first, but after 2 or 3 games, you never touch it again. I wouldn't buy this game, but I do reccomend other games i've reviewed like Dark Cloud 2, or Golden Sun.

A GREAT GOLF GAME!!! a little short though

Here are my thoughts on this improvement on mario golf. The graphics were just about the best I had ever seen on a Console system. However, I beat the entire game in about 4 hours, and the play modes where you went against one computer player were too easy, while frustrating at the same time. Overall I give it three stars. the multiplayer was fun, but the game was too short.

this was a christmas present and aaa!

If you like golf, this is a golf simulation

I was a bit surprised by this game. I had expected a whimsical game, but what you get is a serious golf simulation wrapped around the Nintendo characters. If you like that sort of thing, then this is for you. It is very easy to pick up the controller and start playing, and for advanced players you can exert more control without a lot of training. All in all, though, this is just a golf simulation with Mario characters. Might be fun with multiple players, but the single player game got boring pretty quickly.

Good game, but not as good as Mario Golf 64

It's still a good golf game, but I guess it's just the little things that made it kind of disappointing. It was nothing that really matters, but little features that were just nice to have in MG64. Like in MG64 you could choose between different colors for your characters and it just added variety, not to mention two players could choose the same character and just use different colors, where as in MGTT you can't do either of those. Also in my opinion MG64 had better characters, and if I'm not mistaken, more. I could be though, I haven't played that game in a really long time seeing as my N64 broke a long time ago. MG64 had better music too, it was more relaxing in that game. Most of the courses also aren't really as fun in this game as the other one, but I can't really point out what I don't seem to like. But like I said, none of those changes are a huge deal, but it was enough where it didn't keep me entertained for as long as a game normally does.
