Very Fun

This game is a lot of fun! You are Sydney Bristow for the majority of the game. When you get near the end of the game you are Vaugn for a small part. I give this game 5/5 stars. It is a lot of fun but it is hard at some points. I really recommend this game to everyone who likes good action games.

The late-night action show Alias is part espionage drama, part soap opera. The svelte American operative, Sydney Bristow, follows in her father's footsteps, fighting international terror while becoming embroiled in implausible romantic trysts.

Made in close co-operation with the creators of the series, the Alias game sets out to be a window into the new world order of spy television.

The original actors revisit their roles, with Jennifer Garner supplying the voice of Sydney. The player controls her from an ample third-person view in which she is always large enough on screen to show off her elaborate costumes. Changing between ensembles is an integral part of play.

Sydney must assume different roles to infiltrate top-secret locations around the globe. Or, if one feels pugilistic, she can dispose of wandering guards with elaborate attack combos.

Sydney also comes with a range of gadgets for hacking into security cameras and for eavesdropping.
This game is clearly geared towards casual fans of the show and even borrows some of its storytelling techniques. Often the screen will split into multiple frames to highlight important incidents in different areas.

While the graphics are adequate, they are something of a let-down.
Character movements seem forced and unnatural. Combined with fixed facial expressions, it makes everyone look like humanoid robots. Some of the puzzles are arbitrarily difficult, but otherwise the game is quite easy to play.

Endgame: (...) Fans will get the most out of this authentic but limited adaptation.

The gameplay and graphics are excellent!

Review Based On Demo

Even though I may not have been at the store long enough to play much of the demo, I still enjoyed it.... You start off in a museum, unarmed. Even though you are unarmed you can still punch, kick, and do some pretty cool combos... and once you knock out a guard you can pick up their weapon by simply pushing B.

Graphics: 8/10
Not the best I've seen... but still pretty good...

Gameplay: 9/10
Very fun and easy controls to get used to... Y to crouch, B to pick up weapons, etc. The only problem is she walks way too slow when going up stairs...

Sound: ??/10
I don't really know because I really couldn't hear it.

Overall: 8.5/10
I might have to go out and buy this game... I really enjoyed the demo.... even though I was only in the store for like 5 minutes... my brother didn't find what he was looking for so we had to leave... Too bad... I wanted to play some more..

Alias took me by Surprise.

Alias was awsome! The environments and character designs were great. The combonation of stealth and action was a relief of having just stealth or action. This game is worth getting! Anyone who knows what Alias is or has heard about it will love it. The cast of the show lends their voices to this game and is pretty itchen!!!

NO DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

I found the graphics and storyline of this game to be great!
It is wonderful that the all of the actors from the show loaned their voices for this game. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely Amazing!

I thought this game was an excellent portrayal of the show. I absolutely love Jennifer Garner and Alias so when I heard about this game's release, I was exstatic! The missions are realistic and the characters look pretty darn close to the real thing, Anna and Sark are a little off but other than that, it's great! It's got the real actor's voices and Sydney even walks and runs like the real thing. It's perfect for the die-hard Alias fans out there.

Kind of Blah...

One of the first games I've tried with my new XBox. Not that impressive. Haven't made it all that far, but mostly it seems like you kind of wander around - walking like you've been on a horse too long - and pick up frying pans and hit people with them. Graphics are very disappointing compared to what they could be. OK game, but feels like it was rushed out the door.
