The Pharoh Has Spoken.......................

A Futurama Game where you get Billy West, John Dimaggino, Katey Segal providing their voices for the game.......The fact this game is based on a lost episode......What more can you ask for? Just a few small problems......No Beer Power up for Bender? No eating out of the Trash can power up for Zoidberg? Why can't you play as Zap or Kiff? I like the first board where you walk around the Planet Express Ofiice and See Hermes with a Brain Slug on his head. There should've been more Futurama Characters that you can play as.....Morbo is in the game, but you can't play as him....Or Lurr leader of the Planet of Omni Perscion 8.............Still, this is a great game. Too bad the Simpsons games suck. Wait the Simpsons in the Arcade was Awesome.

Good while it lasts

It's a fun game to play, but it's very short (I finished in less than 8 hours). That seems too quick for a full-priced game, especially since there's not much in the way of replayability.

However, the game itself and the backstory are great. There were many laugh-out-loud moments, and the ending was hilarious.

Ultimately pointless

After playing Futurama for a few hours, I realized that what I really wanted was just to watch some episodes of the show rather than mess with the game. Which ultimately is the only real purpose of the product reviewed here: enjoying the whacked humor of the TV series. The mechanics of the game itself are brutal platforming dullness, with all the cheap deaths, dull objectives, and idiotic easter egg hunts. Yeah, a lot of the gags are great and the original cast does the voice work, but gosh you can enjoy the same experience just by flipping on Cartoon Network and catching reruns of the show. Only recommended for the hardcore Futurama completist.
