Great and innovative; the best Bond game yet.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing is by far the best James Bond game yet. The graphics are great, although it is viewed from a 3rd person view (where you see yuor entire character, not just the gun). At first, this might not seem great. However, it ends up working very well.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing has great varity. The third person view makes stelth easier. The manual aim feature (like in Nightfire) puts you in frist-person ofr precies aiming. There is a fairly forgiving auto-aim feuture, as well. There are driving levels, with a better variety of cars. There are also more explosions, more opportunities to use tight-ropes, and the levels have multiple ways of being beaten.

James bond 007: Everything or Nothing is one of the best games around. There, unfortanutely, is no Xbox Live support, but the offline mode more than makes up for it. The split screen play (up to 4 players) is great, and fast. There are a wide variety of maps to choose from. This is the best offline shooter on Xbox.

Bond is Back; in co-op!

James Bond 007 Everything or Nothing is going to blow the gaming world away. It will have a ton of all new vehicles, including a dirt bike (you can even tilt it to the side to slide underneath obstacles as you're moving), a helicopter, and a sports car. You even have a choice as to which vehicle you would like to use in some missions. The feature I think I'm most excited about is the all new cooperative mode. I've always wanted something like that in a Bond game, and the closest I've ever gotten to it was in Golden Eye, where you could have one person control Bond and the other could shoot. Besides that, there are a bunch of new weapons and gadgets, as well as a hand-to-hand combat system. On one of the trailers for this game, I saw Bond sneak up behind someone and pull off a Splinter Cell/pro wrestling style move. He jumped up and grabbed the guy's face and neck and slammed him backwards on the ground (almost how you can do that in the Matrix game). One thing I hope is kept in the game from Nightfire is the bot feature. Playing against six bots by yourself was always a good way to train. I also liked the helicopter in multiplayer Nightfire, but instead of the tank they should put something else, or at least allow the tank to climb up stairs! I also liked how in the second to last Bond game (forgot the title) you could use your Q-claw anywhere and everywhere, and even hang from high ceilings to surprise your opponents. The only bad thing about this game is that it won't be out until next year; and I can't wait!

Sorry, Bond. Your games suck

Is it just me, or is that the 007 games have just been getting worse and worse since Goldeneye? In fact, with the latest addition to the Bond franchise, "Everything or Nothing", you could actually say that "Everything" about it is "Nothing". This game is just plain dumb. I thought when I just had herd about this game "oh great! a third-person Bond game". I was highly mistaken. This game has terrible gameplay, terrible controls, and terrible cutscenes. Bond fans, gamers or not, will be highly dissappointed with this game, because it has NOTHING compared to Agent Under Fire, and Goldeneye. This game's predecessor, Nightfire, sucked equilly as much, and if they make another Bond game after this, it will flop so badly that the entire franchise will go out the window. People tell me that it's "my opinion", but theyr're wrong. This is THE opinion. This game is a waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY IT!

This is what true Bond fans have been waiting for. It blows all other Bond games away, best since Goldeneye. It starts out with a typical intro serquence just like in all the Bond movies, only you actaully control this intro sequence! The 3rd person view may seem like a bad idea at first, but once you play, its surprisingly easy to use. The control configuration is very simple and easy to get used to. You get a very good assortment of weapons, some of my favorites like a Walther P99, Desert Eagle, MP5K, SIG 552, AK-74, SPAS 12 Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, If theres more, I havent got to them yet. Theres also an innovative hand-to-hand combat system, ever wanted to bash someones face in with there own gun then knee them in the stomach and watch them fall to the floor? You can even peek around corners and pick the guy off before he knows what hit him. The evasive roll is a good way to quickly move in on an enemy and take him out with a good move if your out of ammo or just wanna do something fancy to the eye. You even have a repel chord cord you can use to scale up or down flat surfaces. If all this sounds to confusing, not to worry, the game makes you take a MI6 training course that teaches you these skills quite well. The levels for this game are not very hard either and there not too long. They are very creative and action packed though. In some levels you get to choose which vehicle you would rather drive. Some vehicles include a motor cycle, SUV, V12 Vanquish or "Vanish", Army Tank, Cargo Truck, even a helicopter! The entire video game actually makes you feel like your watching a Bond Movie. You even get Q briefinggs at MI6 headquarters in Scotland. What perhaps makes this game is the use of actual actors and there voices. Yes, that means Pierce Brosnan actually does the voice in the game, John Cleece as Q, and some other well known actors such as Shannon Elizibeth, Heidi Klum, and an old friend, Jaws is back! Played by Richard Kiel. With all this great stuff what could be wrong with this game? Maybe its just me, but the story line seems kind of vauge. And the way the cars drive, its difficult to control sometimes. Ammo shortages are another problem, maybe thye'd rather you use the combat system sometimes though. Overall id give this 4.5 stars out of 5. This wont be a waste of money!

THIS GAME IS WORTHLESS

DO NOT BUY THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A "GAME". THE THIRD PERSON PERSPECTIVE RUINS THE WHOLE JAMES BOND EXPERIENCE. THE AIMING IS SO INCONSISTENT, THE GAME CHOOSES FOR YOU WHO TO SHOOT. FIRST PERSON PERSPECTIVE LETS YOU SEE MORE AND ACTUALLY AIM AT THE ENEMIES INSTEAD OF "LOCKING ON". YOU DON'T NEED TO "LOCK ON" TO AN ENEMY TO SHOOT THEM, JUST AIM THE FREAKING GUN AT THEM AND SHOOT! THE CO-OP MODE IS WORTHLESS AS WELL, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO COOPERATE AND THERE ARE NOT MANY OPPURTUNITIES TO ACTUALLY USE SOME FORM OF TEAMWORK, YOU JUST RUN AROUND AND SHOOT GUYS THAT THE GAME ARBITRARILY "LOCKS ON" TO, AND THE OBJECTIVES ARE SO RETARDED. EA GAMES REALLY MESSED UP ON THIS ONE. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS GAME ARE THE SINGLE PLAYER DRIVING LEVELS. THEY ARE FREAKING SWEET. RENT THIS GAME FIRST TO SEE IF YOU REALLY WANT TO WASTE MONEY AND BUY IT.

everything or nothing is everything i expected it to be

when i first heard that bond was going back to third person i was mad to say the least but as times passed and more screen shots and videos were released i started to believe EA was doing something right. Well its been a a couple of weeks now since the game has been released and i must say it has passed all my expectations. The graphics are nice and clean, the enviroments are well done, and the character models and faces are great and look just like their real life counter parts. The action in the game is non stop on foot and in car. All the voice talent is above average but can be a bit spoty at sometimes. Although the xbox doesnt get online play the multiplayer is still fun and worth it. Overall the game is the closest you can get to being in a bond film and i definitely recommend it even for the casual gamer.

Has a very "Arcade" feel...

This game has so many good elements to it, I keep playing it even though the bad design elements are driving me nuts. I love the combat, the 3rd person perspective, and I love the targetting system. With the targetting you can lock on for quick fire fights, or when you have time to plan for a second, aim high, low, etc. The look and feel of the characters and environments is amazing.
What I like less about the game, is even though it appears that they give you the ability to use stealth and tactics, they very rarely actually give you that opportunity. No matter where you hide, everyone always seems to know where you are.
Lastly, the driving parts that I've seen so far are horrible. Here's an example of the first driving part: You dodge a wall of flame and head for a big gate, the gate is impenetrable, you lose. Start over, this time go through the flames, come to a gate, crash through. Next gate, can't crash through, but can shoot. Get to your objective and you are told to drive under it. For about the first 15 seconds, you can't drive under it, but then just before the level ends, the floor lowers and you can.
There are so many of these parts where there's no way to know what to do without trial and error (and if you fail you always start back at the beginning of the level) that it reminds me of playing the quarter-eaters at the arcade.

Just Shy of Mediocre

This game is a dissappointment. After enjoying Nightfire i had come to think that the bond liscense was back on track, that's not the case. The combat engine seems to have been taken directly from Dead to Rights, then they through in a few vehicle missions, and then random missions like where you fall from a cliff and are trying to catch Shannon Elizabeth's character while dodging rocks. You hold a button, then a targeting recticle locks onto someone and then you hit the right trigger to shoot them, which in a way is far too simplistic, but to make it tougher they've set it up to seemingly always lock onto the most inconvenient enemy like one far away who is unaware of you while another closer enemy is killing you. Also the levels can be tedious and a bit too long, divided into segments so that once you get past say the first part every time you die you are reborn at the beggining of the second however, you cannot save there so I found myself forcing myself to keep on playing just so i wouldn't have to deal with the first part again. The multiplayer is tedious and more of a chore than anything. YOu cannot start off fighting with your friends you can only do co-op mode which has each of you as two unknown characters fighting through levels filled with doors that each of you has to coordinate your hitting the door open button. The game did have a few highlights like bringing Jaws back and the true to life voice, and face renditions are nice but overall i didn't think it overcame the games faults. There are however people who absolutely love this game. So i won't tell you not to buy it, but i will strongly recommend that you rent if first.
