COOL BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is no doubt the best game ever. The first Battlefront was the worst game ever. This game is a fantastic improvement. Here's why:

You can now play as your favorite jedi or sith characters.

You can now take the battle into space baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has new locations from Revenge of the Sith.

New weapons from Revenge of the Sith.

Skip the first Battlefront and go straight to Battlefront 2 baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best Star Wars Game Ever

Star Wars BattleFront 2 is AWSOME. There are so many vehicles and characters to be. There are also so many game modes. P.S. my review is not that long because I played it 2 times at my friends house.

Another BAD sequal to a great star wars game

Now the original star wars game was excellent in every case. It had that great feeling of actually living in the epic battles of the star wars movies. The second one was great also but not as good as the first. This is not surprising though because lucas arts isnt too good with making sequals.
The campaign in the second is much different than the first. It kept more of a story based ideal. It made you do objectives and missions during the battle. Which isnt that bad, but it wasn't as much fun as just having a war and taking over command posts like the original. It made it feel as if you weren't really in a war but doing missions. The game does have the option of not doing the missions and just taking over the command posts like the original but its more of a board game where you move your space ship from space to space and when you land on a space with a planet then you are allowed to battle there and have the original gameplay. This made it boring because you cant just pick which planet you want to battle on like the first one.
The space battles are very interesting though. They add a lot of fun to the game. It really feels like you are in space and you can even get dizzy by spinning and i love flying upside down. The space battles do get boring after a while and the mssion objectives make it annoying.
The graphics are good but they seem more like there was no improvment from the first. You can fight as a jedi which is fun but once oyu die you cant be him anymore and they are only available in certain situations and only in the campaign so you have to do objectives with them. The game also has new characters and droids to be but lacks the great gameplay as the first.
Overall the game feels more like an expansion pack with a new sort of gameplay that isnt all that good and with a little board game. The game is still good but it isn't as fun as the first and you can get bored of it because it is more of a duplicate of the first. Another bad thing with the objective thing in the campaign is in some planets there can be a lot of objectives and if you get far and fail one you have to do them all over again and if you run out of men to use you also fail the battle so you will end up repeating the objectives over and over again which can make it very boring. In other words there are no checkpoints. The game also mostly focuses on episode 3. So if you dont have the first i suggest you get that one instead of this one and if you have the first and want more battle areas than get this one but dont get your hopes up for it being any better than the first. If you just decide on getting it because you hear all the new things you can do dont get it because its no where near as good as the first.

the best game ever!!!

im not a kid....just didnt want to make a profile....this game is one of the best games i have EVER played....it beats halo and halo 2....bein able to play as the jedi is kick-ass.....the only bad thing about the jedi...is that its only for a limited time....but if you keep killing people...you last longer as a jedi....i can go through a whole battle using a jedi....the single player is really fun...good storyline....the galactic conquest mode can get kinda long....but its really fun to do...multi-player is great....the graphics are awesome....all-in-all....its a great game and is definitely worth the buy...

This is a good game but more a BF1.5 version then BF2..

I will cover what hasn't been mentioned or expressed. The game has a story and conquest mode. The story covers the 501st Legion of the Empire. The story follows them from their first mission to the supression of the Jedi. After that they deviate from the offical story line. To win the game, requires the Empire to win!! That means all facts and story lines will not be canon after the Jedi Temple. The game play is similar. A great deal of the issues in Battlefront 1 was fixed in Battlefront 2. They added a space battle situation and rearranged some of the controls. The troop commands are now limited to follow me or move out. You have to purchase items depending on the amount of money you make in battle. There are some annoying bugs in the game mainly in the Conquest mode. Hero Han Solo has a laser pistol and once you earn bonus pistol thats when the bug kicks in. If you switch to cutter to repair something you can't switch back to pistol to fight. Any bonus weapons you earn must be load manually by switching from rifle to pistol then back to rifle each time you start a new game or respawn. Another bug is the suicide shuttle pilot. Once you land on an enemy ship and disembark, one of your guys reboards the ship, takes off and crashes into the bulk head. Space marines aren't very useful because I've never been boarded so some of the bonus items are useless like turrets in space battle. Flying a vehicle could cause you to lose the game if you spend too much time flying aroung in dogfights. The AI are still dum. They're smarter then their predessesors. Don't let them pilot spaceships with you as a gunner. You'll just die when the ship crashes into something. The turrets in the space battles are no good against other ships. Another bug is the Cantina music in Jabba's palace or Mos Isley. The music overpowers the sound and voice and plays throughout that stage of the game. It's an obvious bug that does effect game play in both story and coquest mode. The screen credits showed they had 28 QC and QA testers and inspectors looking at the game and yet I found these bugs in only a few hours of game play. The game play is good and even on the highest level, I made General very easily. That's the other issue I have with the battlefront series. They are too easy to win. I win 98% of the time on the most difficult level. I even opt out of using bonuses and still win. I sometimes lose due to bordom. My points so far after purchasing this game opening day: Games: 2036 Points: 175859 Rank: General Kills: 78985 Ratio 9.18 All my medals are Legendary. Finally, there are very little movie scenes in Battlefront 2 (5-7 seconds) and the loading screens are just pictorials unlike battlefront 1 with its animation. The graphics are par or a little below that. The figures look somewhat haze. The map details a par and the space battle are ok. I love Star Wars but I won't be rushing to buy first day releases after 3 title purchases that although great didn't push the enveloped and could have used more time in quality control to eliminate the bugs. Favorite trick: Place a mine on an empty enemy vehicle. As soon as they board it, they go BOOM!!

I love starwars!

I like Starwars battlefront 2 because it is action packed, and Starwars battlefront 1 made me want to play battlefront 2 because it was so fun. When I first played the 2nd one, I figured out that you can be a jedi. I hope you buy this game because it won't let you down for action!

This game has it all!

When I was a little kid and watched Star Wars on video, I never imagined they would have made a video game out of the best trilogy in history.

This game has it all...play as a good guy or a bad guy, take your pick. Fly a space ship, sit in a turret, or go face to face with your enemy with a blaster and grenades...or if you're lucky, a Lightsaber(tm) ;).

Get this game! You owe it to yourself as a gamer and a Star Wars fan!

This is hands down the best star wars game i have played or seen. Just the fact that you can use almost every hero and villian in the star wars movies makes this a blast to play. The addition of the space combat is what really tips the scales on this title. When you're flying through waves of tie fighters and you land on an Imperial star destroyer and begin fighting through control rooms, you begin to realize this game is really special.
