WOW

I have recently played this game extensively and can vouch for its amazing quality. The work that has gone into this game is unbelievable, here are some of the features:

- The graphics look so real that I actually thought that I was watching a video of real people.

- Similarly the sound is awesome. I heard that they actually recorded real people for the voices too, unlike other games with their made up voices. It sure sounds real to me!

- The music is so good that they were going to put it on Top of the Pops, but when they released the album they decided not to appear on the show as, being a sure #1 hit, they didn't want to ruin the chances of the other pop stars doing well on the show that week. (This Soundtrack Album is also available here and it is so great too, I can't believe they cn make computers play music like this).

- And lastly, the gameplay. Imagine any type of game you like, well this is like that game but better. I cannot wait for this game to come out as, having played it extensivley at E3, I know so much about it and I'm dying to play it again.

I have been playing video games since I was a kid and this is the finest piece of softwaremanship I have come across to date. I am going to buy 2 of this game just so I can keep one un-opened as a display piece.

Do not buy this game!

When I first learned of this game I was excited about Sudeki but that all changed when I played it. The game trys to be a "Jack of all trades" and ends up being a horrible lame attempt at combining different styles of play. It trys to blend RPG elements with that of first person shooter and a third person hack and slash. The game left me feeling empty because of the many faults...the most obvious being horrible voice acting, bad AI on the part of your team members, and a disappointing story. I did beat it and wanted to kill the game because it quite possiblily has the worst ending of any game I have ever played. Please do not buy this abomination to RPGs, it trys to please everyone and ends up pleasing no one.

A Decent Game That Squanders its Potential for Greatness

Sudeki is one of those games that leaves you with the impression that it was shipped 3 months ahead of schedule. Don't get me wrong - this game is a lot of fun. The storyline is fairly original and intriguing enough to keep your interest. The landscapes are varied and well designed. And most of the boss fights are worth the price of admission. However, given the hype the preceeded this game, there are some glaring flaws. First, the ending. Despite the fact that the game only takes 10 hours or so to beat, the ending should be longer than 60 seconds. Second, some of the sidequests are difficult to find and if you miss them, you don't always get a chance to come back to them later. Finally, the game is far too easy for an experienced player. There are a few places where you can fight endlessly and get healed up cheaply. Spend a few hours in these places and your team will be nearly invincible.

Overall, Sudeki is worth it for a rent, and possibly a purchase if you have found games like Diablo 2 and Fable too difficult. For the advanced gamer, pick up a copy of Star Wars: KOTOR or Fable instead.

Nice graphics not much else.

The battles are a bit boring. The story might put you to sleep. The voice overs are terrible. The only saving grace was the beautiful graphics and the girls in bikinis but of course they have to spoil it by talking giving little feminist speeches about how they can do what a man can do and better.
Some of you may like this but I strongly recommend that you rent before you buy.

Over hyped

I picked up Sudeki at a bargain price, thinking I was onto a good thing after reading various magazine reviews. After playing Sudeki for a few hours it didn't really click with me, so it got put in the pile of games to play when I ran out of better ones, and I generally never get to those - there's always Gitaroo Man to zap through again, or a dance mat to jump up and down on, so in reality is a game that's been consigned forever to the gaming shelf, thus saving me the effort of ever having to play it again. Harsh words, sure. What I can say about Sudeki is this: It's another game that over hyped itself, and under-delivered; a western developer attempting to make a Japanese style RPG. Microsoft, seeing it as finally an RPG for the Xbox jumped all over it and declared it the best thing ever, but most people - to quote a useful forum word - found it a bit "meh".

Now with the arrival of the Xbox360 it turns out that the Xbox was not the ideal console choice for RPG lovers like myself. So now what, Playation 3, Nintendos Revolution or chance it again with the new Xbox 360.

Great mix

If you like first person shooters or just a great hack and slash this game has both! I've been playing it for a day now and find that the game is great! This game has fair graphics.

there have been many images posted around of the castle - none showing a red dragon though. they have done a good job of keeping that well hidden

3 stars for Sudeki - my copy has yet to arrive. only then can a proper review be written

Sudeki is an RPG with Combat

See the box art, 4 characters all armed with a different weapon. The female at the front has what appears to be ken style fire balls, the female on the left side has a twin prong device, the male to the right a sword and the male towards the back has what looks like a large hand gun. Sure looks like a whole lot of fighting and killing will take place. Sudeki is supposed to be an rpg, quite what the balance is between combat and puzzle solving has not been disclosed on any of the web sites to my knowledge.

SOME INFO.

{in answer to Terry from WDC} from what i can gather Sudeki is a third person shooter without the shooting as the 4 main player controlled characters are armed with swords and magic powers. One of the characters looks like he has a rocket attached to his back. Maybe it can be fired?. As for the story line, no idea, cannot help you there.

The 3 star score is for looks as i have not played the game as it is not avaliable at this moment in time.

Storyline please

Given time the manufacturer should supply some information on Sudeki, and then Amazon will hopefully post it up. The Sudeki story line remains a mystery to me, what I want to know is who is the bimp wearing the world cup inspired bra on the box cover? and the large headed woman on the left carrying the over sized potato peeler weapon that looks very rocky horror show?

Star ratings are pointless given that fact Sudeki is not available at the present time. So please ignore the 1 star rating as a rating needs to be entered at Amazons request.
