BEST DS GAME EVER!!!

4 Rating: 4, Useful: 2 / 2

Do not, I repeat DO NOT pass on this game. In Wario's debut with the DS game system I couldn't wish for anything more from a game ever! This game is extremely fun because of the single fact that you get to play 180 new microgames with the touch screen. Yup, you heard me folks, you don't use those pesky buttons the entire game. This style of gameplay makes Warioware: Touched the best game ever. This game has many micro games, over a 180. If you are wondering: What is a microgame? Don't worry, I'll explain. A microgame is a fun game, that takes about 5 seconds to complete. Now you must be thinking: That is so easy then! Nope, your child won't get bored of them, because they become very hard to complete in the later levels. The game is set up in a very interesting way. Each charcter has there own specific type of games. For example, with the character Jimmy T., you have to rub to complete the games. Each character throws exciting new games your way. In one of the characters, you evn use the microphone! To unlock more charcters you have to beat a chracter yuo have. But the fun doesn't stop there either. After beating the game you can try and beat your highscore's for each character. This part is challenging, and I promise it will keep your child interested. Another cool thing about this game is the toys. Whenever you beat a character, you get a "toy". What is a toy, you might ask. A toy is a cool little thing that is fun to play with. For example one of the toys is a "harmonica." Where you blow into the microphone and then press button, and then your DS is a harmonica. Some of the toys are minigames. A minigame is different from a microgame. A minigame doesn't last 5- 10 seconds, but last as long as you keep winning. Another cool part of the game is the album. Here you can play microgames you've played while using the charcters. It is a cool feature, and it really adds to the replay value of the game. I also enjoy the sountrack to this game. It has many catchy tunes, that are sure to be stuck in your head. Each character, along with having there specific type of microgames, has their one soundtrack. There are also many classics. such as the Nintendo Theme Song. Overall, you MUST BUY THIS GAME. If you have learned anything from this review, I hope you learned, what an awsome game this is. I would recomend it over any DS game you can name. It's got fun, hardness, and replay value. If you want your child to have the best DS game, buy this one.

Fred's Review:

5/5 stars

Intelligent Systems does it again with another WarioWare game. Each of these games have tons of short 5 second mini-games that test your reflexes and timing. But this particular one hits 5 stars with it's great replay value. Another reason why this one is great is because it puts great use of the touch-screen on the DS. Souvenirs which you unlock after getting certain records put more reason for playing it over again. Souvenirs are things like a juggling game, clacker, parrot that repeats what you say from using the built-in microphone in the DS,timer, piano, and some party equipment. These souvenirs make you want to keep on playing to beat records. This game will probably have you playing for a couple of months, every now and then I'll start playing it again.

Touching is good!

Well, what do we have here? A game with no controls, only touching and blowing? WWT is the latest Wario Ware for the DS.

Gameplay:9.5/10: You play many 5-second microgames involving poking, touching, spinning, blowing, tapping, and other things! You also get cool little "toys" you can play with. Check out the pet parrot!

Many are complaining about this game being too easy and short. Well, this game has LOTS of replay value, and challanges.

Graphics:8/10: Not the DS at its best, but the grapics are colorful, clear, and cartoony!

Sound/Music:9/10: Not much music in the microgames, but there is a cool new song called "Ashley's Theme." It even has a subliminal message hidden in it.

Overall, if you have bought the DS, and are wondering what games to get, try this.

PS. Using the turntable, play Ashley's song really fast. You will hear, "I have granted kids to hell!"

Wario has topped himself

Now just so that there are no questions, I am a teenager and a very avid video game player. The first Warioware Inc. game was good, but certain games would tend to confuse you because they didn't really explain how to play them in the main game. Some used the A button and others used the control pad. That can be a bit confusing for some people. While the new game is, yes I'll concede, much easier to beat, it also explains how to play the games. In each Boss's games you get to do different things with the stylus, (except in Mike's, in which case using the stylus is useless because you have to blow into the microphone) and it is all explained before you play. Also, the prologues and epilogues of each Boss are hilarious. Playing the game quickly gets you addicted to it because you want to keep moving on and seeing what comes next. If you beat the game and it starts to bore you, then simply delete your file and wait a week or two. By the time you are ready to play again it all seems fun and entertaining. This game, just like the first one has tons of replay value and it's a nice break from all the sports games for the DS that Nintendo has come out with so far. If you want a game that will take you 300 hours to beat then go find an RPG, but if you want a fun, somewhat challenging, very addictive and entertaining game, then I suggest Warioware Inc.: Touched.

Twist, Don't Touch!

There's a reason all Nintendo DS systems have a slot for Gameboy Advance games - and that reason is Warioware Twisted.

I bought both and have to say something is seriously lacking from Touched. The graphics are great and the game uses all of the DS' features, but there's just not enough reward like there is with WW:Twisted.

It's way too easy. There are a couple of minigames where you might be a little challenged, but it only becomes truly difficult when you get into the higher paced levels.

The "souvenirs" you get are, as previously stated, lame. Plus, there's no good way to keep track of them (did I get them all? Did they just stiff me?) In Twisted the souvenirs are divided into categories, with each filling a slot. Empty slot? Keep playing! Touched just throws them all together. Also, there's something satisfying about getting to use the souvenir dispenser at the end of each level, something Touched doesn't give you.

If you're thinking about buying this game, you'd be better advised to go ahead and spend it on Warioware: Twisted.

Best one yet!!!!

I got this game about a week ago, and i have to say as a fan of the series that THIS IS AWESOME!!!!! This game uses the touch screen for everything, and even has mic games! the characters are just as crazy as ever, but with the loss of dribble, spitz, and orbulon in new industries, there are lots of new characters and styles!!!!

First, you must beat wario's touch training phase. These mainly specialize in poking stuff, like popping balloons or poking kittys, but they are fun, and get really hard. his boss game is weird: you have to poke glass to smush flies. Mona uses cute games, with slashing across the screen for veggies, or for her boss game , bowling. that disco freak jimmy is back with his familly, and they all helped him engenier the dance club rub.(rub the man to do chin ups, rub the dog to pet it, boss: fill a bucket with rainbow juice) Kat and Ana return with lots of scribble games, and an addictive boss game challenging you to scribble lines to bounce orbit ball to the moon! New character ashley and her little devil freind red have good dragging games and an even better theme song. In her game( out of character for her), you must save the earth by dragging it around to dodge lasers. Hardest one!!!! Crygor got upgraded in both body and games with new unscrewed spinny microgames. To best his boss, steer the car away from the baby!!! Nine Volt and 18 Volt have changed controlls, but not genres. However, the boss game is a little too easy. Mike, crygor's karaoke bot, uses the ds mic, for awesome games. Jimmy's siblings James and Jamie bring back the princeple of remixes. My favorite and last character is wario-man, the combonation of wario and a REALLY bad peice of garlic. His games are a mix of everyone's genrea, except with one twist: all wario centered! In his boss, you must explore and shave a hairy nose, dodge snot, and crush boogies to find treasure. fun, but EWWWW!!!!!

However, it's not all good news. The games get kinda repeditive, and the souveniers are too weird. and it is too easy. I beat it the first day i got it. I beat the teddys on the second day. about a week later, i got every souveneir except one i cant find (Where you, you damn souveneir?WHERE ARE YOUUUUUU!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

overall, this game is great. pick it up at fry's, target, or toys r us.

It seems like the DS was built for this game!

This is a truly amazing game. Like other warioware games, the object is to beat a series of five second or less games. However, they only give you a word such as "tap!" or "slice!" This game takes total advantige of the DS's touch and microphone fetures. Also, you can win 'suviners.' These are fun little extras ranging from a calculator and a metronome to windchimes and virtual custard
By the way, to all the people who say 'all you do is tap the touch screen,' Thats like saying to all other video games 'All you do is push the buttons.'

Pros:
+Tons of avesome cartoonlike cut-scenes
+Great Music (I personally like Ashlys theme song)
+Fast pace gameing
+Tons of new and imaginative micro-games
+Fun 'Suviners'

Cons:
-The microphone games are extremly repetitive
-Can get frusterating (you can only mess up four times or you have to start over!)
-Over to soon...

Over all, I think this is the best DS game out yet. I highly recomend this game.

Obsessive compulsives beware.

I am an adult. My 10 year old likes video games. I played this game on my (also adult, childless) brother's DS on a long boring car trip. A week later I purchased it, and a DS to play it on. My first personal indulgence in years. This game is fun, fast, and neverending, because you can always do better. According to my son, I could purchase other games for my DS (hint, hint)but so far, I dont need to.

Bravo WarioWare, Bravo!

I've come across losers here that say 'omg way too easy'. So what? It's still fun and exciting!

WarioWare INC. strikes back in this awesome new touching microgames style. WarioWare: Touched is a successor from the previous WarioWare Inc. games from the GameBoy Advanced Seris.

And that's not all - the characters are back, featuring:

Mona, with her Cute Cuts.
9 & 18 Volt, with Retro Action
Ashley, with her Dragging

and there's still more and lots of souvenirs to unlock!

Fun! Fun! Fun!
