Great Idea, Terrible Execution

3 Rating: 3, Useful: 0 / 0

This game has awesome graphics and incredible gameplay features. It comes with bullettime, human shields, unbelieveably sweet disarm moves to take guns from other people, and some awesome hand to hand combat tricks. It actually feels like a John Woo Movie, or actually, the way a John Woo movie would be like if the main character wasnt completely invincible. Half the time you are trying to fight 10 different guys at the same time, with the bad camera trying to see every angle but you can't. This is the most insanely hard game I have ever played. If your up for the challenge or you want to see a game with features never been done before, rent or buy this game it has some great new ideas. Just be prepared to throw your control against the wall a lot and spend over 50+ hours on it

Dead To Rights

This game has cool fighting techniques, awesome graphics, an arsenal of massively destructive weapons, and a fairly well thought out storyline, but it's not as good as Grand Theft Auto:Vice City.

Can someone say repetitive?

This game starts out great; nice intro, fun beginning, somewhat easy controls, and tons of action. But after a while the game just starts to get old. The game gets frustrating later on and it made me ask myself "Why am i playing this again? I dont really care what happens" (the storyline is dull). I wouldnt go so far as to say that this game is horrible, but its pretty dull in my opinion.

DEAD IS RIGHT!!!

I was really disapointed at how bad this game is.First off,I'm thinking the great Max Payne game plus bone cracking disarms.I put the game on and what I get is bad control, bad camera angles and and a cheesy target system.A challenging game I like, but in this game it's ridiculiously hard in every level,to stay alive.I known this only because I have a level select cheat and all the stages are cheap. This game gets 1 star for the idea of mixing the disarms, which are sweet when you're lucky enough to pull one off, together with shootouts. The graphics are too cartoonish and not gritty like Max Payne. This started with good ideas and wound up a seriously flawed game.Mabey next time, they'll get it right. It does'nt come close to the awesomeness that is Max Panye!

Great 3rd person shooter!

In the style of Max Payne this is one great 3rd person shooter.
The graphics are good though not the best I have seen, but the game play is intese. The addition of the hand to hand combat/disarming moves over most of the other games in this genre really makes Dead to Rights stand out.
This is a keeper.

Worst Camera in a Game Ever

I may not have disliked this game so much if it wasn't for the awful camera in this game. It is one thing to literally have to take on 20+ guys at once but when you can't even see them half the time? Forget it. Glad I just rented it.

A Relentless and Challenging game

I must first say that Dead To Rights is not for the faint of heart. This is an extremely demanding and insanely difficult game. Strategy definetly comes into play in this game. This game is definetly a challenge, and at times can make you scream. I've had this game for about a week now and I'm at chapter 9 (there are 15). I actually do enjoy this game, but at times I wish that it wasn't so difficult. What I've found most difficult is the hand to hand combat. The reason being is due to the fact that tons of eneimes come at you. I don't mean 4 or 5 guys at a time, I'm talking about 10 - 12 coming at you and hitting you. However, I find the gun play very entertaining and it plays like an action movie. Pick Dead To Rights up if you want a major challenge. If your not up for the challenge, I suggest a game where you can set the diffculty level, 'cause this game is relentless.

this game [stinks]

alright i got the game cause it looked hot, and everyone was talking about it. i thought it would be really cool to control a dog and kill people with it! well let me tell you, the dog [stinks]. he should BE a shadow... anyway it was fun while it lasted... in the beggining you get used to the controls. it was fun. but believe me... the game ddrraaggss on and its no fun walking up to a bad guy, pressing a or whatever 10 times and moving on. there are also some glitches when he jumps.. when he jumps in regular time, he shoots about 2 times. when he jumps in bullet time, or slo mo.. he shoots like 5 times.. does that make sense? well i would suggest u rent this game instead of buying it. or else make a clean spot on the shelf for it...

Excellent Game, but for the Excellent Gamer

Dead to Rights is one of the best action noir thrillers you'll ever run across. I realize thats not a big category, but you have to admit running around Grant City with a AKM, 12-gauge shotgun, and a killer dog is pretty fun. However, with the fun, comes the struggles. One particular mission is when you're in the "friendly women" house. When you get to these kind of levels, stategy must come in. The most helpful move is the slow motion. If you dive in these situations, good chance you will finish the mission easier than any other way.

#1 game for first time M-rated gamers

5 Rating: 5, Useful: 0 / 0
Date: February 28, 2003

Luckily, this game is found to be the most masterful for those who are new to mastering video games at this rating. Finally, it provides a variety of skills to pass the entire thriller.
Unfortunately, most of the M-rated games are callous, sometimes take a very, very, very long time to master each one, involve much of the perplexities and acquire so much energy.
As a result, this is a very important recommendation regarding the issue of the adult video gaming and for individuals who plan to master the fighting, action, horror and other types of video games in their future lives.

Thank for your time and patience!
