This game its a diferent kind of piece of entertainment than i thought, i was expecting something less complicated, more as the way of prehistoric cultures. More fun, with a bit more action and larger scenes. Perhaps is just that is not my kinda of games.

Unpleasantly Surprised

I am a serious gamer of many genres and have played and enjoyed other Dreamcatcher games. This one was just an exercise in frustration. The movement was clumsy, choppy and bulky -- I have 2gig ram and an AMD 3200 with an Nvidea 7300, so it is not my computer.
This game was so clumsy in fact, that I began to feel the real puzzle was just figuring out how to move around. The graphics were simply OK. The story was terribly uninteresting and quite frankily I quit playing because I just did not care anymore. Bottom line: I should have known it was too good to be true for under 20$

great game

I had alot of fun playing this game. It was challenging but not too hard. Great graphics, beautiful scenery. The only thing I would change is to make it longer, I wanted to keep on playing. If anyone knows of other games like this one please let me know.

Very enjoyable

I play adventure games more because I like poking around and exploring, less for puzzle solving. I really enjoyed this game. It was different from most adventure games, and I really felt immersed in the prehistoric setting. The people were rather stiff and were the only things that were poorly executed IMHO. But, that didn't really detract from the enjoyability of the game. The puzzles were logical, fun and easy enough that I didn't get frustrated. Overall, I loved this game and recommend it highly.

Just Another Puzzle Game

You enter a pitch black cave. With the aid of your atomic-level, laser-guided pixel hunter, you find (hopefully) what you need to start a fire. Then, you solve a puzzle. Then, you solve a ludicrous puzzle. Then, you leave the cave. Then, you enter a pitch black cave.... Sorry about that. I could find no way to write a review without writing a detailed walkthrough of the game.

Since there is really no plot, interesting characters or dialogue, and the graphics are only average, there is really no reason to leave the first cave. This game would make just as much sense if you stayed in the first cave and solved all the puzzles there. "Echo: Secrets of the Lost Cavern" is just another dumb puzzle game.

A game that has as your first exciting task rubbing two sticks together to make fire is not even worthy of a cub-scout. I'm really getting tired with games that leave you in one spot without even the slightest hint of what you should next to move the game along. Of course one figures it out eventually, but what a waste of time!

The science and history trivia were not interesting, and not informative of the game itself.

This game is going right back to J&R Music

This game caused all kinds of havoc with my PC. Norton was constantly giving me low risk messages, and my PC ran Windows check disk on reboot. Never saw that before! I also had problems printing before I uninstalled this game.

Long search is over

I have been searching for a game that I would enjoy, and kept saying all along, "One that teaches you survival skills, and in line with Native beliefs," well, I found it! It just isn't created for the many who are advanced gamers looking for the ultimate challenge, it's more for one's with interests in "now how did they once do such and such.." mentalities. I felt placed within the scene while trying to work out just what to do next in the game. I personally enjoyed the graphics and skill level, especially the theme. I hope to see more games created with similarities, such as herbal knowledge/gathering, meditative practices...hint, hint. This game is hopefully the beginning of such game play--to look to yesterday for a less unstablized tomorrow.
