I haven't played this game but it looks fairly unique...bike riding adventure.

Don't you know that you're toxic?

This game has CHEAP written all over it. It's nothing more than a lame attempt to cash in on the popularity of the Tony Hawk style of game. I was hoping for more of a mission-based type of gameplay because that was what I was led to believe it would contain. Instead, it's your traditional jump, grind and do as many tricks as possible video game. Woo hoo! As if we didn't already have plenty of those.

Even if it were nothing more than a Tony Hawk clone, it would still be awful. The level design is sorely lacking in any originality except for maybe one or two that some effort apparently went into. The handling is terrible! I can't emphasize that enough. The BMX riders are too slow and it seems almost random as to whether the game wants to let you grind on something or land your trick.

Underground Mode is the supposed "mission" mode. Of course, the purpose of each mission is usually to get a set amount of points, do a multiple trick combo, grind off of such and such, etc. Um...how's that different than any other game in this genre? That's what I thought. I'd also like to point out that if there are eight objectives you need to complete in a level and you only do seven...too bad! Your progress doesn't save because you have to do all of them at once (and your mission is timed). Totally frustrating!

Don't even get me started as to the "story" of this game. You're on some futuristic BMX game show where there are always a lot of blades whirring around or spears trying to poke you in each level so that you can splatter poorly animated blood on the ground. To think that this was ever a full-priced Xbox title makes me weep. If you don't get this game for free then you're paying too much. Trust me!
