Good game, but dont buy form overstock.com!!!!!

Mae govanen melon! This is one of the best games I've seen in a while, two player, over 50 Zoids to select from, and good story line on either the Rebublic or the Empire. OH, NO!!!! It comes out the 14th here even though it came out on the 7th at overstock.com. BUT, don't buy form them because it takes about 4 weeks to ship and then another 4 to reach it's destonation!!!! With that in mind if you order it here instead of a overstock you'll get it about 6 weeks earlier than there!! Choose wisely!!

This game is all i ever wanted. A real time game with zoids. I was a zoids fanatic about a year ago(yes im a kid) and this game is based on the series. The bad things? The controls are extremely hard to learn and mission mode is very hard since you take on many zoids at once with an ally part of the time(once or twice in the beggining). Sure its got great graphics and has many characters from the show but the voices are horrible. fiona sounds like a school girl on hielium!

You can get this game but only if youre willing to play for hours before you start to get decent.

I bought my copy of Zoids: Battle Legends at GameCrazy-part of Hollywood Video. The game itself is pretty good. The character voices are good and don't have any complaints toward that subject. I would agree that some of the missions are time consuming in order to win, but that is how it goes. Zoids tournament mode is awesome. You can play against the CPU and gather points to purchase Zoids and parts. You can also sell. It is a great game and I think, my opinion, a true Zoids fan would enjoy it.

this is a great zoids game because i thought it was going to be like final fantasy and it wasn't which is awsome because FF sucks and you can pilot any zoid and even some you've never seen before. the story mode is kinda hard and so is the tournament mode but the VS. mode you could play forever a must for any zoid fan or any shoot'em up lover

even though i have not played this game i have seen videos of it at a website i cannot tell. there are not a wide variety of zoids to choose from but for the most part you play as all the zoids from the bit and liger zero series and it has a sweet intro video with a phoenix liger going against a konig wolf and then it sheds its armor as seen in the show and then transforms into the thunder liger (go to cornbom.plus.com/video) sweet this review was written by the dark raven

THIS GAME IS TERRIBLE. Bad story, clunky controls, it is the absolute worst game I have ever played, and I have been forced to play a barbie game before.

Zoids battle legends might be cool for Americans who have never seen a decent anime game but I know better. I have all 3 of the zoids verses titles and zoids full metal clash. Compared to these games bl is like a -10
it really is sad. I would recommend that all of you who want to get some serious anime games to go to play-asia .com and by a freeloader which will enable your cube to play all of the Japanese Zoids games you heart desires.

well i love zoids as much as the next kid but this game might not come to the states although i have preordered this game atari (i tink it was) doesnt think it'll sell well. anyway i think they'll still ship it. >_< if they dont. well this game is going to be great it'll have tones of zoids to pick from and a story mode. if u want more info go to zoids gc and check out the music videos. they show the graphics and ways of gameplay (and the music's cool too ^_^).

The only good part about Zoids: Battle Legends is you get to customize your zoid. The battle mode is way hard for a beginner. Even if you spend all the money they give you in the game, taking on two opponents at the same time is very hard. Having a partner in the game is hard too. You have to make sure hes helping you. If you dont control him too, he just runs around and you get beat up and lose. I would not recommend this game. Spend your money on a better game!!

Yes I waited over a year for this to come out,it was worth the wait! My son and I enjoyed the Zoids show on Nick, I thought at the time what a great 1st person game it would make, piloting the Liger Zero eeeeee :} But I soon found out that it was only available over seas and it was a overhead view or 3rd person view, but wow what I saw of it looked good.
Actualy just the promise of it being released in the US influance me to go with the gamecube platform over the rest... No Regrets there! And none with the game either. Atari allways does a great job. The only thing I realy did not care for was the charecter's repeating the same lousy catch phrase over and over again in battle. But the battles are intense,the controls intuitive and the game replay value is there! In battle mode you win you can buy weapon's etc. allowing you to fully customize your zoid rite down to the paint job. And If you play until you get carpaltunel, you may earn enough credits to buy the ever elusive Z plug giving your zoid special powers. Mission Mode bites and is quite tough in the upper levels but what takes away from this mode is the heavy text to read and you need to read it, as you may be asked to decide on one path or another, to help or not. That is why I gave it 4 stars for edu. value. But it did slow the game down quite a bit . Overall if you liked the Zoids show you will like the game.
