By far the best horse racing sim I've ever played!

It's a great game! You can win and on a regular basis but you've got to do your homework(study the owners manual). The graphics are super but can be a bit choppy at times(hence the four star rating). I'd highly recommend this sim to all horse racing enthusiasts!

i like this game alot. in the game i own my own champion mare Samantha's Wonder and her foals are really good. racing is hard on this game because you don't gain any energy back. the best i got was a fourth place. managing a stable is hard at first but when you get more money is becomes easier. it does not have the best graphics though. betting is boringgggggggggggg. all you do is choose a horse too win. i get lots of money though. my parents own a real racing farm and that is alot better than this game i must say. in the game you don't get to brush your horse at all or give it treats. i highly recemend other games like let's ride games or horse racing farnam. that games is real easy, i won't go on because thats a whole nother story. back to final strech. i dont' like how the horses die or that when you breed you never know if it is going to be a boy of a girl. the good stuff is that you get to own horses and it's sotta like real life. i like having boarders come in but why are they always tror racer? i love the gallop racers though. because i don't like the idea of putting a harness on a horses back plus it's funner to ride them in real life. my other favorite things to do is to go to claiming races and auctions. autions are fun because there are lot's of horses too choose from and so are the claiming races. the thing i hate is some of the names i can't even read! the cool thing though is that there are over 1,000 horses and it's fun to race against them. i love too watch the races just not ride. you should be able to be a trainer in this game too. there are too much jockeys and my horses usally go good for only one or two of them. hope i didn't bore ya'll too much. this is a pretty fun game. i have four friends who have the same game and we race each other all the time see ya later!!!! sorry. i love too type?? wantta talk to me on aim just type in thoroughbredfantic1212.

this game is the best! i'd like to be a jockey in real life but i'm to tall! this game is just like being a real jockey or horse owner. in this game u can choose to be a jockey a better (BORING!) or a stable manager (THE FUNNEST!) i dislike that the horses in the game die early but all my horses are really good and i play this game ALOT my horses reach the best catorgory half way through there first year of racing! I LUFF THIS GAME! A MUST HAVE FOR HORSE MAD!

I personally think that this game is very fun. I love the graphics and all the details. The races could be a little more exciting, but I highly reccomend this game for any horse racing fan.

Ok, when you read Final Stretch - Horse Racing Sim's description, it says you can build your own stable. That is 50% of a lie. I thought you could BUILD your own stable, like The Sims, but no! Yeah, sure you get to decide how to manage your career, but you BUY a structure, and people build it for you!! That's in CAREER MODE, anyway. I only tried CAREER and RACE mode so far, but BET MODE kind of sounds like fun. At first, RACE MODE might seem difficult, it was to me, but you'll get used to it. If you really dedicate your time to this game, I give no doubt that you'll get far!

Like one of the other reviews, great game but you cant win???
Easy and hard are the same! I got this game as a present from a friend but it had no information on how to play the game.
Can some one please tell me how to atleast come third and why does the energy level go so fast and the other horse's dont??

Game sucks..buy quarterpole plus instead

I found nothing to like about this game but the graphics. no real handicapping info at all. I did buy quarterpole plus which is put out by action games while googling horse racing games. This is an updated version of the great but buggy HOOVES OF THUNDER racing sim. It has the bad bugs removed and is well done and more of a challenge. It is updated for windows XP. If you loved HOOVES you must get this new version. retails at 19.95.

i've had this game for a while and forgot all about it then started to play in september. my favorite horse in the game Clementine just passed away at age 15???????!!!!!!!! i don't get why horses die at such a young age because horses usually live into the twenty's and some thirty's. racing mode is hard at first do far the best i got is a fourth. in owners mode you get to buy horses breed them, train them, have the vet and farrier come, have boarders and even race them! be carful when you breed you never know if it's a boy or girl untill it's born which is after naming it. betting mode is just plain boring. snore!!!!!!!!!!! all you do is bet what horse you want to win and watch the race. sounds boring talking about. a really cool game. this game has really no graphics and doesn't let you do stuff like the Let's Ride series does.

This Game is the most annoying software. The races are nearly impossible to win. Your horse is always the one that tires at the end. TOO many horses in each race. Save your money on this TURKEY!!!
