Below are the cheats, hints, and tips that Game Gas knows about for NHL Faceoff '97. On the right are

Super players:
Enter one of the following names at the player creation screen: Raja Altenhoff
Tom Braski
Craig Broadbooks
Josh Hassin
Tawn Kramer
Alan Scales
Kelly Ryan
Jody Kelsey
Chris Whaley
Peter Dille
Craig Ostrander Then enter "1" as a jersey number, "Forward" as a position, and "150" as a weight. Do not edit any other attribute. Now press Triangle to exit, then sign the player as a free agent. The newly created player will have new attributes, with an overall ranking of 99.
Almost perfect goalie:
Use the normal procedure to create a player, and assign him the goalie position. Then, define his ratings as (in order): 72, 64, 72, 80, 72, 72, 72, 72, 72. Now although the overall rating is 77, this is the most effective goalie possible.
