Chip variations:
After getting the corresponding chip, use one of the following combos using it in a battle to vary its attack.
Gyroman/SP/DS bombs on one enemy: Hold L + R.
Z-Saber extra slash: Press Left + B.
Extra liberations:
When you are in the Nebula area there are three more liberations. The first one is Shade Man. Then next one is Cloud Man. The last one is Blizard Man and Cosmo Man. They are very difficult, but can be defeated.

Complete one of the following tasks to replace the standard saved game icon.

Long Sword: Hold A then quickly press Down, Down/Right, Right.

Secret area:
After you defeat Nebula Grey for the first time, go to Undernet Area 3. Then, go to the farthest left area and go through the passage. It will lead you back to Undernet Area 2 but into a different place. At the end of the path is a Golden Navi. It says that you need 100 regular chips (not mega or giga) for it to open a portal to the Nebula area. Also, stronger viruses are released into the net.
Shademan SP/DS extra attack effects:
Confuse enemy: Press Down, Down/Left, Left + A.
Paralyze enemy: Press Down, Down/Right, Right + A.

CrossSwrd slash: Hold A then quickly press Down, Right, Up.
Double LifeSwrd slash: Hold A then quickly press Up, B, Down, B, Up, B.
SuperSonicBoom slash: Hold A then quickly press Left, B, Right, B.
Better timing and accuracy:
Pausing the game helps control the timing and the accuracy of some chips. While pausing the game, hold A then resume the game. The chip will be used automatically and will work exactly where and when you want it to. This trick can also be used to dodge most attacks by timing.
Navi Compression codes:
Enter the Navi Customizer screen. Highlight the indicated Navi Customizer Program. Then, hold Right and press one of the following button combinations to compress it. After getting compressed, the Navi Customizer Program will be one block smaller. Repeat the code to decompress the program.
