Game is okay, nothing too special.

This game is a small step forward from the Baghdad series, the graphics though have been minorly upgraded. The gameplay is a bit frustrating though because enemies seem to shoot through trees and debris to kill you while you have to move closer to shoot them. For pretty much most of the game you have to keep all 4 guys together because enemies constantly come from behind and attack and your buddies just stand there and take the bullets to the back.

The game is somewhat difficult and sometimes they don't offer enough weapons, which forces some of your buddies to walk around with no ammo for some of the missions. They at least got the music and language right though, but that's one of the few positive things about the game.

The game is definately worth renting but with many other war-games out on the market it probably isn't worth buying.

what a pain!

Better Than Shellshock

"Shellshock" is a decent Vietnam game and I would certainly recommend buying it used but if you're only going to play one Vietnam game then "Conflict:Vietnam" is it. It offers a much wider range and variety of missions than Shellshock. For that reason alone it captures the essence of the war's action better. It also requires more strategic thinking. If you just want action for action's sake play Shellshock instead.
