This game rocks the house!!!!

Fight Night Round 2 is pound for pound the best boxing game produced yet. The total punch control is very sensitive and one can control the boxers every move. The learning curve is steep, but opponent AI is excellent and the difficult moves like parrying and blocking combos is tough. It actually takes work to learn these skills, but is great fun. I love boxing and this game is a great pleasure. Only game I have ever played that made me sweat!!!! Go out and rent or buy this game. You will not be dissapointed and is typical of the EA sports genre.

Idiots above cry to much!!!! Very Good Game!!!!!!!1

This game is a huge improvement of the first one. The haymakers are very cool. The only reason the people above complain about it is because they probably don't have the coordination to throw them in rapid succession. You can block them and throw them, you just have to practice. I hope EA can get permission from the IBF, WBC,and WBO boxing commissions to make the ultimate realistic game. This game is getting closer in that direction. You can move up and down in weight and unify belts, be the pound for pound champ. What I like most is, you don't have to accept challenges for your belt once your champion. You can simply fight tune-up fights whenever you feel. This will prolong your career. If you manage the time lengths between fights just right, you can have long careers. My guy is 73-0 right now and only 42 yrs old. Yea, it sucks that they start losing attributes once thier older, but I think it makes it more challenging. They also need more of the real boxers of today in the career mode. Overall there is too many good features about this game to write about, but the direction each Fight Night is going is the right one! Don't pay any attention to the poor crying video game nerds above that can't seem to figure it out. Well Worth buying in my oppinion.

im actually above 13.Anyway this game is awesome the graphics are perfect.they got classic players like Muhammad Ali,George Foreman, and some more classic players. They also got alot new school players. The sound is great. The gameplay is awesome. The controls are hard to learn at first...it took me like 1 or 2 hours to get a hang of the controls, but i got used to them. Its (...) its worth it all!I dident like boxing that much but now i love it after i played this game. Its improved alot sense the last fight night game. They got haymaker on this game its were a boxer puts all his power in a punch. When a round is over on this game your boxer probly will look beat up pretty bad so you can heal your boxer a little bit were you can lower the swelling and stop the bleeding. Also when you get knocked down in a fight you have the count to 10 to get back up so you have to stop the dizzyness somehow to get back up it gets more harder every time you get knoced down. The matches can get pretty intense, especially when the two players are about to go down. The story mode is fun you customize your own player and can buy new gear for him when you get the money. But when you get to like the age of 30 or 40 you will just start loosing and your whole career will go downhill and it hurts more when you have some titles and someone beats you and they take over.So BUY this game it rocks you will not regret it!

I don't know what ya'll are talkin bout this game is off the hook. You just have to play the game for a day to get a hang of the new controls. This game is so much more realistic then the last and the graphics are so much better. I think the gameplay is 10 times better you really have to plan out your moves and their is a lot more strategy involved then the last game. This game overpasses 2004

This Game is tremendously addicting

I just got this game and i think it is all that I ever wanted from a boxing game. The only slight problem is parrying. i love the haymaker, thunder-like punching, creating a player and career mode. It all adds up to this one beautiful boxing game ever made. I recommend buying this game to any boxing fans out there and I think this years Fight Night sequel is the bomb. Peace out.

This game is wonderful and its just amazing how such a game can ever be made. Sticking and Jabbing Eventually wears down ur opponent letting u do a crazy KO punch or a haymaker. The controls are easy to maneuver and learn although throwing a haymaker requires correct timing. Tending to cuts and swelling between rounds really brings out the realism of boxing in the game. Sparring lets u harness ur skills and learn the controls. Sticking and moving lets u easily avoid hooks or deadly punches and lets u throw a stinging jab to the face. Counterpunching just makes u feel so good. For example your opponent throws a deadly hook, you can immediately counterpunch and hit your opponent right back in his face, and this could distabilize him because he wasnt prepared for it, letting you throw a flurry of punches and even giving the opportunity to go for a haymaker, which could send them straight to the canvas. Animation is excellent and is very funny too. Rings are beautifully created and lighted and the way the boxers are introduced makes the whole thing awesome. So, what are u waiting for??? Get your copy right now and you wont regret it.

Um, yeah, this is addicting

Back in January, with a $25 mall gift certificate to burn, I was running out of ideas what to buy, when I stumbled upon a slightly used copy of this game. I looked at the back, saw you could create your own boxer, thought it might be fun, and purchased it. I had no idea it would be as full-on addicting as it is!

Even if you are not a huge boxing fan, this game is fun as hell, for one simple, addicting reason: you can not only create yourself (and a damn good likeness, might I add), but you can create your enemies, make them suck, and then go into "play now" mode and PUMMEL THEM! Nothing is more fun than landing haymaker after haymaker on your foe, as they stumble, barely conscious, bleeding out of their eyes, nose, and mouth, ahehehe.

And if you are a boxing fan, then check this out. All of the punches, moves, blocks, et cetera are here, as well as many pro boxers, including Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, and even classic boxers like Jake LaMotta (of Raging Bull infamy) and Rocky Marciano. My only complaint is the crappy rap "music", but that's not really that big a deal.

5 stars all the way. This is one of the most fun games I've ever played. Cheers!

GREAT GAME. THIS GAME IS VERY REALISTIC BUT DOESN'T GIVE ENOUGH PRAISE TO ALLAH.

THE BOXERS ALL PRAISE HIM IN THE RING BUT EA DOESN'T GIVE PROPS WHEN PROPS ARE DUE. IF YOU HEAR THE BOXERS TALK THEY PRAISE ALLAH BEFORE EVERY MATCH... SOMEHOW IT DOESN'T TRANSLATE WELL IN THIS GAME.

THE BOXERS FACES ARE SUPER REALISTIC AND THE GAME IS INCREDIBLY UNIQUE. TO USE THE ANALOG STICKS AS PUNCHES IS REVOLUTIONARY. YEAH ITS WORTH $50. ONE OF THE ONLY GREAT GAMES EA HAS EVER MADE. I'M NOT A FAN OF EA AS A COMPANY BECAUSE MOST OF THE STUFF TEHEY DO IS VERY GENERIC.

OVERALL, THIS GAME ROCKS. I'M A TOUGH CRITIC OF GAMES BUT THIS PASSES WITH FLYING COLORS.

WHAT A GAME... AMAZING

Man this game is awesome. If you learn how to do a haymaker well you can bash the heck out of your opponents. This is even better when you play with a friend. The only drawback in this game is that TYSON is missing Why?????. All round the game is good. The graphics are fantastic. The cutmen, training sections are fun. You can play for hours and hours and never get bored. 5 stars all the way. Dont wait buy it now.
