This is probably the best action/adventure platform game I have ever seen and played ever! Try it out, you'll never take you're eyes off the televison screen!

Ok...This game was awesome when it first came out. Now it's getting old. Just rent it. You could beat this game in two days.

I am the video game xpert. Literally. All my friends come to me for game advice codes and more. I have played all versions of Crash Bandicoot, and as some say " The originals are the best". This game in my opinion is not only the best ps2 game, but Id easly choose this game over any ps2 game other than Grand Theft Auto 3. I would highly reccomend this game to any person at any age. Its a great game! If you can only have one game, choose this one, i can almost gaurentee you will like it! So i give it 5 stars

This game is great. There is nothing wrong about this game. There are different variety of levels. That is what makes this game good.

This is far from the best crash. The levels are okay but the only GOOD one is hog wild. It is fun and full of energy, just like me. Island 1 is almost too easy and then 2, 3, &4 are extrememly hard (not the way it should be) you can only save at certain times like the bonus levels and how many times does it come up?! Have you also noticed all of the levels on a 'crash' game with bonuses - when you die you get to go on again and again and again, EH EH EH??????? Well, not here. As I said, levels are okay, and HOG WILD is sensational, but what about bosses????? Well, they are almost boring and far too easy. And TOXIC WASTE way up (or) down in level 20-something (32 levels in total) excuse me - but bouncing barrels that are quite hard to beat - what does this tell you or say???????? Despite this, hog wild was fun and all good and me and my aunty had a few laughs over PAPU, PAPU, which is a boss who is really fat. But, this was the most boring and easiest boss there. The eastern-feared ROAD TO NOWHERE was quite good too. Temple Ruins, and all the levels that follow after that or try to carry on from there, are awful.

* I would reccomend the crash bandicoots - 2,3 &4. Then Crash : The Wrath of cortex on PS2. Naughty Dog really followed up on them ones. The most recent NITRO KART is the most boring yet... yawn yawn yawn. All Game boy's and XBOX games were good, too.

Alright, so I just used naughty for the play on the company name, but it got your attention, aparently, so...

This is the oldest Naughty Dog title I've played (as far as I know), however it has a lot of the issues which I've noticed from their games in the past. Nasty difficulty spikes (the eight or so level should be closer to the end) and the 'one path to the end of a platformer' standard which Super Mario World truely broke when it came out take the one star out of this otherwise superb game.

While the graphics are fantastic for PS1, and moderate at worst for PS2, sometimes I find it hard to tell where, exactly, Crash is going to land. Also this very much 3D platformer has 'side scrolling' sections where I become convinced that pressing down will make crash duck, not fall into a bottomless pit, water, or whatever else is in the foreground. Saving can sometimes prove difficult, although, if you look in the right places, you can find a way to save after every significant area. Also, often after completing certain difficult areas, you'll be able to do them again at any point you desire, good for getting the games bonuses.

I haven't finished the game yet (I'm only half way through), so anything in this review could change, although it's unlikely. Most Naughty Dog games are consistantly good or bad in every way.

Anyway, the bonuses are usually earned by getting through a level opening EVERY box in the level without losing a single life. Others are given through bonus levels, etc.

A very great game for a great price.

in the year 2004 i played all the crash games that they made but the 1st i havent played i thout this was going to the best crash game because of crashs girl friend i dont know why but in the other ones she aint in it when i got this game it didnt show the story how the whole thing happened but if you wait for 3 minutes it will show the story well any way when i played it the first day i was doing okay intill i got to boulders

I do not prefer this game because it's very great, which I must admit it is not, but I enjoy it because it's more fun original than an average platform game. This game introduces Crash, a bandicoot who wears jeans. Also, when Sony launched this game, Crash sort of became the PlayStation 1 mascot, sort of like Sonic being Sega's mascot, and Nintendo sporting Mario.

This game is one of the best games of all time! The graphics are ahead of our time, the music couldn't be better and the gameplay is something you can't get from any other game! (I sometimes get up in the middle of the night and play it!!!; on weekend nights, that is!) Overall, this game deserves five stars!
