Well.. i had these games a long time ago and wanted them again because i never beat 5 and i really love FF6.
Product came within a week even though it sais it might take longer it got here faster then i thought.. so definately faster shipping options are not worth it if you ask me, well, for this kind of purchase anyways. It came in perfect condition though! Was kinda hoping it wouldn't be greatest hits edition, however it and all the other copies i bought of the FF series through amazon were.

Nostalgic fun. If you loved the FF series get this game.

Nostalgic fun. If you loved the FF series get this game. For people that never played the FF series nows the time. Get into the game with basic RPG elements that are showed in this game. Many people that have played other grand RPG's Such as FF7, FF8, Suikoden know what im talking about. All summed up I have to say is GET this GAME!

Ahhhhh...the classics!

Check this. I was a wee disapointed with the story for FinalFantasy VII. I mean, compared to VI (America's III) it was bunk! FinalFantasy III is probably the only reason I didn't get any dates throughout my sophomore year of high school. END

Good old games.

Its a really good set of games. I enjoyed FF3 when it came out the first time in the US and having it for a betters system than my old SNES is great. As for FF5, its good to see they came out with it. I was hoping they would bring out some of the other old Japanese FF's, but apparently FF5 is it. Oh well. Wishful thinking on my part. :)

Great Review of FF Anthology

Final Fantasy Anthology is an excellent game if you a die hard RPG fan. This game has both Final Fantasy 5 and 6. Final Fantasy 5 lacks to the imagination and I would rate it a 3 on a scale from 1 to 5. Final Fantasy 6 is a great RPG, it doesn't have job classes but still one of the greatest RPG's I have ever played. I would definatly buy this game, it is worth it.

Fun Games! But there was something missing...

I am not camplaining about the games, just how it was packaged. They completely left out Final Fantasy IV, which would have made the package even better, and then there should have at least been more computer generated scenes, because that would have brought the characters even more to life. To me these two things were a major disappointment when I got this game. One thing I thought was a great idea was the new "Battle Transitions". I think they are even better that the new Final Fantasys, so I'll give them credit for that. The games are fine and really do bring back old memories of the SNES days and are just as fun as any other RPG. Oh well, if they had alot more CG scenes the package might have 15 cd or something, but hey, I wouldn't mind if it was the same price!

The best of the best!!

The Final Fantasy series is by far the most popular, game inovative, and most of all fun series of all time. And Final Fantasy VI simply is the best of the best series. Sure, the graphics are a bit outdated and many people complain that the PSX is too slow for this game. This may be correct by if you are a true avid gamer, then you will look past this for hours upon hours of real fun. As for innovative qualities, Final Fantasy VI stands out like a sore thumb. Final Fantasy VI is the First of the Series to offer summoning magic. Personally, I beleive summon magic is the Greatest quality of the series. As for Final fantasy V. It may not be the best of the series, but if you love this series as much as I do, then this is just another Fantasy, but definately not... the Final Fantasy

Classic Square

Among all the crappy RPG's out there squaresoft's Final fantasy series always comes through blazing. FF5 is included in this set along with FF6. A landmark game FF5 never made it to the united states instead remained homebound in Japan. Job levels later seen in FF tactics got it start right here. An epic story (as if Sakaguchi does it any other way) great music and all things FF, not to mention new CG intro scenes, what else do you want! FF6 (ff3 here in the states) got some new CG intros this is the game that propelled the series into overdrive. The intense gameplay not to mention a story of revelations and treachery-Kefka is one twisted clown lookin SOB- will keep the old Ps goin for hours.

A classic!

If you are a fan of RPGs and have not played Final Fantasy 3 (Also known as Final Fantasy 6) then you have truly missed out on what is "possibly" the best Final Fantasy ever. This is my personal favorite. Even though I own Final Fantasy 7,8,9 and 10, and I have played, and beaten every Final Fantasy game (Even part 1), this is my still favorite ever.

As for Final Fantasy 5, it was never released in America before. And if you love Final Fantasy games, then of course, you must have this one too. It is no FF6 though. But hey, what is?

An excellent package

If you've played FF3 for the SNES, then 6 is basically the same thing. My focus is on 5, which "critics" and editors tent to rip apart. In my opinion, this is the greatest of the early Final Fantasy games. The plot has a dark side and revolves around death. Either you like it and you don't. The music is great, typical Uematsu and very memorable, one of his best scores in my opinion. Also it is very challanging which is a good thing. All I can say is that its too bad this game wasn't released in the US at the same time as it was in Japan.
