Sim Theme Park

Sim Theme Park is a really fun game. I enjoy building the parks and watching the people play games and ride rides. One of my favorite features on this game is "Ride". With this featur, you can get a front seat view riding the rides. It's fun to watch and helps you improve your rides. Overall, I think this game is really fun and exciting.

All you get is FUN... FUN... and MORE FUN! (PC version)

This game can be your dream come true! You can build and manage your own dream theme park anyway you like as long as it can bring in enough revenue for expansion. If every visitor who comes into your park and enjoys it, you'll feel so much satisfaction. The animation is real cute and you'll be able to see all kinds of rides and EXPERIENCE them too! How? Simply click on the camera mode and there you GO! Fun right? Just play the game and you'll be able to experience rides of a theme park at home. Oh ya... what's more? You can also build your own roller coasters!

I suggest that if you wanna play this game, go for the PC version bacause the Playstation version is more lacking. I've played the Playstation version, and it can be considered boring. So if you want the most out of this game, do go for the PC version!

Sim Theme Park is a fantsatic game with so many different possibilities. There are four different themes to choose from (space Zone, Land Of Wonders, Halloween and The Lost Kingdom) where you get to decide what rides you want and you even get to ride on them. As well as choosing what rides you want in your park you also get to choose what shops you want in your park. This is a great game and you will get so much gameplay out of it, so its great value for money

Another Sim game!

Sim theme park is a great game, but saying that it's either a game you love or hate. If your looking for action this probably isn't the best game to play, but otherwise you'll love it. If you didn't like the other SIM games, you most likely won't like this either.

The playstation version is a great conversion, but obviously is a bit lacking compared to the PC version, the PSX is getting a bit old now. A mouse is an essential if you want the most out of this game.

You may notice I didn't include much about the actual game, I figured you can read that on the other reviews. What I said hasn't been said yet, and I decided it needed to be said.

I try to keep the violance out of our house on the games they play and things and this does that.

A Fun Game to Play...and then come back to Later

I like all the "Sim" games...the original Sim City, Sim City 2000, 3000, Sim Farm, Sim Tower...so I bought this for the Playstation. This game has a lot of the same ideas...you have to keep your customers happy by building enough food shops, drink shops, rides, etc. You also have to hire staff and manage them. (The entertainers like to go on strike a lot). You can also build roller coasters and track rides. All of the other rides are "pre built" and you just place them down. It is fun...and as you get gold tickets for doing something right (like placing enough trash cans by your food stands). After getting 2 gold tickets, you can open a new park. The first park is a regular theme park type. Others include: a Halloween theme, a space theme, and a little kids/worms and apples type theme (my least favorite so I don't know what to call it). There are two different of each style parks to play in.
I give it only 4 stars because I found myself getting bored a lot sooner than usual when playing Sim type games. There aren't enough options and you run out of room so quickly...if you build too far out, your customers don't/won't go that far to walk. So I played it non stop for like a week and then put it away...but just like all the others, I pulled it back out about 6 months later and did the same thing again. It is worth playing if you like the "Sim" games...just not as good as the pc based games.

Repetitive

Exciting at first, but soon you'll loose interest as it is so much alike even as you advance through the levels. My brother finished the game in 4 days, so it is relatively easy as well. Yes, you can go on your own rides, but that's not much fun either. You'll get bored pretty quickly as you wait for your park to generate some income - and that can take hours! Don't get me wrong, it is a lot of fun playing this game in the beginning because there are a lot of things you'll be busy building and fixing. But eventually you might find yourself leaving your computer for 10 or 15 minutes at a time and let the game work itself!

Roller Coasters, Rides, and Really annoying talking dots

This game is all right, but do not pay 40 dollars for it. I was really disappointed with the look--especially when you're "riding" the rides. The game is hard to handle and manuever. But it's a good idea--I like building my own roller coasters. I just wish I could make them go upside down (unless that's a feature I haven't found yet). It was okay, but I don't really think it's worth a lot. If you can rent it, that would be a good way to go. The worst part is the annoying guy who talks to you, telling you that your drinks are good, then telling you that people aren't satisfied with your drinks. It's annoying. But the game was okay aside from that.

Not up to the standard of the others

If you're looking for Sim-City-in-a-theme-park, forget it. From the moment you load the software, you realize that this is a game for young kids. Very young kids. The interface is awkward and you can't simply dive in and start building. The software keeps forcing you to take little tutorials.

If you want a good theme park builder, I would suggest Roller Coaster Tycoon. It is what I thought this game should be.

There isn't much I can say about this game. You build a park for people and that is really it. I mean this game is actually kind of fun. I mean making a Theme Park doesn't sound like much fun but it kind of is. But the bad thing about this game is that it is kind of hard because you have a limit amount of money, your workers go on strike and when your workers go on strike your rides blow up and other things like that. If you use a cheat though this game is fun because then you can buy all the stuff you want to. But then again like all games this game does get old after a while
