Sled Storm- If it isn't snowing out, you'll wish it was!

This is an excellent racing game. The challenges are progressive. Building on prior success allows greater attributes of the game to become available. Bad news is you must be successful for a series of races to achieve the next plateau. Without completion there is no way to save your progress...back to the beginning. For you SLED lovers you'll wish you were out on the trails rather than at home. But if you can ride why not FLY with Sled Storm. The ariels the players can perform will leave you wishing you were sixteen again!

Engaging and Thorough

After several months owning this game, I still find myself playing it several hours a week. The gameplay is challenging, yet winable and the mechanics of the sled upgrades are very realistic.

Up to four people can play simultaneously in single race heats or championship sessions on either the snowcross tracks or open mountain trails. The best feature here is the replay after the race; the computer plays it back with a variety of camera angles and you can laugh and cheer at your friends' riding. The graphics are boss!

Do enough burly tricks on the snowcross tracks and you unlock new characters to try. Do well on the open mountain and you unlock new tracks, weather conditions and you win money with which you can upgrade your ride.

I'm very impressed with the time and effort that so obviously went into the making of this game. EA Sports could've easily cut corners just to get the first snowmobile game out there, instead they created a game which'll be hard to beat. If you love racing games or if you're a snowmobiler, you'll find this game exciting and adventurous.

Wow! What a great game!

This game is very fun for all ages. It has many different modes and sleds. I love this game. I was hooked to it when I started playing. With so many different courses and tricks, it is easy to enjoy it. You can build up the sleds to better ones. You can unlock people and courses. Racing against the computer or 3 other friends brings endless fun. I would recommend getting this great, must get!

Sled Storm comes onto the stage as one of the first of its kind. It is similar to Jetmoto, but it is the first snowmobiling game ever. It is definitely a leader of its kind. With its great graphics, controls, and detailed levels it leaves the competitors in the dust. I'm not real into video games, but this has got me hooked. Sled Storm is the best game I've ever played.

This game is great, with awesome graphics

Sled Storm is probably one of the best, if not the best, game I have played on Sony's Playstation to date. Here is a game one can play for hours and hours on end and never tire of it. The graphics are astounding and the gameplay is magnificent. One of the greatest features of Sled Storm is found under Time Trials where you can compete against a ghost of your own best lap. Sled Storm is undoubtedly the best racing game I have played on Playstation to date. You will absolutely not be dissappointed.

Watch out for that tree!

I found myself "sucked in" by the reality of this game. I popped it in my PlayStation and played it for nearly 2 hours straight the first day! I have not used the multi-player mode much, I do not tell a lot of people about this game, I want it all to myself!! I live in the Snow Belt of Michigan and this is a great game for in the summer, when my sled is in storage!

It is not "just another racing game" for PSX. It is so real, you get windburn on your face and your knuckles get cold! The courses are challenging, the drivers all control their sleds different and do different tricks and the upgrades make ALL the difference! This game is a great, great addition to your PSX collection!!

What a great game!

I have had my playstation for about 4 years now, and I find myself playing Twisted Metal 2 all the time because it was the only game that had any real staying power and is fun in 2 player mode so my wife and I could play together. We decided to pick up Sled Storm on a whim, without having read any reviews, and we are real glad we did. This game is a LOT of fun... it is fun doing the tricks, it's fun impronving the snow mobile, it's fun unlocking tracks, and it's fun unlocking characters. Each track is very unique, and all have good jumping opportunities to do tricks and score points. The open mountain tracks also have some great shortcuts you should look out for. Finally, we have found another game that we can play together and not get tired of.

Gooood Gracios!!

Sled Storm is the funnest game I've ever played, probably because I love snowmobiling and this is the best snowmobile game out there. It is fun to keep playing championships to get more money and upgrade your sled, but single racing against my friends is lots of fun too. The snowcross championship is where I do best. I love doing backflips, one-handed supermans, decades, Indian airs, recliners, double nac-nacs, and more. Some of the things certain sledders say is the funniest things, like "It's a bunny", "Got'em", and "Dufis". You can get two new sledders once you beat a snowcross championship a couple of times. Jay is the best guy to be when you are in the snowcross championships, because he is the best at doing tricks. I would first take Jay through some of the Mountain Championship first before Starting a snowcross championship so you can get some money to upgrade your sled a little and be able to get better air for big tricks which produce big cash in Mountain Championship.

Best game around

I own both a nintendo 64 and a playstation. I own many games on both systems. But by far this game has to be the best game that I have for either system. Quite a few tracks. With a few hidden ones to obtain. The tracks range from race tracks on the top of mountains to supercross where you go off many jumps and do tricks to earn points. There's also many riders to choose from. With a few hidden ones also.
