Fantastic !!! Sort of like the Duke Nukem of tank games. Decent graphics ,cool weapons and challenging missions.

One of the best tank games on PS2 so far...

No tank game in the market today has yet matched the concept of a great tank warfare game like Steel Reign. The sound effects and graphics put you in the middle of a realistic combat with the familiar machines. You'll have different tanks, weapons, and missions to earn in the game. You'll have to fight your way through hordes of other tanks, some superior to yours, and apache helicopters flying low to get an angle on you while they try to dent your armor with machine guns, and A10 tankbusters flying above to destroy you with missiles. The artificial intelligence and sound effects of the enemy soldiers and tanks are surprisingly realistic for a PS1 game. Simply, this game will amaze you from start to finish for a PS1 game that has the lead so far in tank combat.

I had been wanting a tank game for a while and steel reign was one of the ones I was considering on bying and its the one I bought. I also have ps2 but thre are not many tank games on ps2. Steel Reign is very cool. It has some cool tanks. I also think that the screeny is nice 2. The controls are fanstic and the graphics are very nice for being a ps1 game. The fram rate is also good. The game runs very smoothely. I do not know what else to say so I think I will end it at that. If you are looking for a tank game and only have ps1 or thre are no tank games that float your boat on another system you may have then bye steel reign.

THIS HIGHLY SLEPT-ON VIDEO GAME IS ACTUALLY A VERY GOOD ACTION-PACKED GAME. IN MY MIND, THIS IS A CULT CLASSIC VIDEO GAME. THIS GAME HAS NEAT GRAPHICS, FUN MISSIONS THAT'RE CHALLENGING, GOOD CONTROLS THAT'RE EASY TO MASTER, THE MUSIC ABSOLUTELY ROCKS [AND IT'S PLAYABLE IN YOUR STEREO, WHICH IS GREAT!!!], AND THE TANKS LOOK COOL. BUT, THERE'S ONLY ONE MAJOR THING THAT HURTS THIS GAME VERY MUCH: ALMOST ALL THE TANKS HAVE PROBLEMS!!!!!!!! SOME TANKS ARE VERY STRONG BUT ARE WAY TOO SLOW, SOME TANKS ARE VERY FAST BUT ARE WAY TOO WEAK, ONE TANK IS EVEN VERY FAST BUT HAS NO SHIELDS, MEANING THAT IT'S VERY EASY TO GET BLOWN AWAY! THE BEST TANK TO PLAY WITH ON THIS GAME IS THE DESERT KING, WHICH I RECCOMEND ALL GAMEPLAYERS TO PLAY WITH ON THIS GAME. EVEN HAS A NICE MOVIE-LIKE INTRO TO START THINGS OFF. SO, BEFORE YOU PLAY ''BATTLE TANX'' OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AGAIN, FIND THIS GAME, BUY IT, AND SEE WHAT A REAL TANK GAME IS LIKE.
