If you have the first twisted metal game or twisted metal black, this may sound familiar. "warhawk" was the final boss in t.m. black, and you could watch a demo of the game in the first twisted metal. It has alot in common with twisted metal. It has the same sound effects, the missles look the same, it has the same realistic, live action feel that twisted metal did, it came out at the same time, and they were both 3D mechanized shooters with somewhat of a dark feel, not to mention more codes than you can count. It has extremely cheesy live-action video between each level and some in the middle of the last level. the main "villan" is extremely wierd and has tubes going into him with "red mercury" (the powerful substance that the story revolves upon) flowing through them. Official playstation magazine included it in its "lost gems" section last year, next to skull monkeys and jumping flash 2. The rating should probably be T because of some stuff in the game, namely what it says if you lose all of your lives early in the game. anyone who likes 3D aerial combat should buy this as soon as they get the chance.
