My husband loves games that are hard it gives hime a challenge. I hate paying so much for a game when he can finnish it in a couple of weeks. This game is much harder and he loves it. The store who sold it to us was so helpful we will always buy from them from now on because of amazon, [...] a great place with great help. you get what you pay for. help the whole time if you have a problem.

Best Call of Duty to Date

Some people have said some negative thing about this COD, but I think it is the best version to date. COD, The big red one, s*cked donkey b*lls. I played this one immediately after and it is leaps and bounds ahead. The computer players are much more advanced this time through. In COD BRO they got in your way and were so lame. In this one they actually save your a**!

To those who say this game sucks, here is some advice. Always play these games on the hardest setting. It will be the most realistic and most difficult. You won't be able to beat it in an afternoon. It will require patience and skill.

The only downside to the game so far is that you are often killed by "invisible" germans. They are hiding all over the place and it can get frustrating to get killed 5 times in a row in the same spot without ever figuring out why.

But the graphics are good and the game play fun, once you get the hang of it.

I enjoy playing video games, particuarly military style games. I do not consider myself an excellent player by any means. With that being said, this game will deffinitely please the novice player as well as the experienced one. The game has many save points so that if you are killed you can pick up from where you left off without having to go back to the beginning. I truely enjoyed both the graphics and sound....not to mention the cut scenes where the acting was very good. I would highly recommend this game.

I own COD Finest Hour and Big Red One. Those were super good games. But this game is better. Its way more intense. Especially the Polish level when your trying to keep the hill. You even get to do some hand to hand combat. You don't even have to find med kits. When you're badly wounded you just find cover from enemy fire and you heal automatically. Beware you constantly get grenades thrown at you. But you can throw them back. I don't recommend doing this unless you're badly wounded. Sometimes it explodes and I die before I can throw it. The graphics are pretty good for PS2. If you like the previous COD games you'll love this.

An excellent game. Worth it.

A very good game. The graphics are outstanding and you actually feel like someone in this war. The only things that need improving on this game are you run out of ammo extremly fast, its wicked easy, and there is no two player mode. I havn't tried the muliplayer setting on it yet and I expect it is very intense. If you are interested in getting this game i would recomend u playing Call of Duty 2 Big Red One first so you dont just start in the middle of the war. Also a memory card is a must have since it has an auto save feature.

WAY To Short (Is every Call of Duty like this?)

This is only my second Call of Duty game and I wonder if all of the games are like this:to short and repetitive. I'v beaten the game 4 times in less than a week. Once you beat it the first time, you might as well sell it. It's SO boring after. I've played it on easy the first time and basically meely attacked everyone to conserve my ammo. On normal it's still easy, but when your playing hard they acually mean it. The levels are long, boring, and annoying if you play on a higher difficulty. The graphics are pretty good(probably the only good thing about the game.) There's no variety with the guns, just the same ones over and over. But there is acually, one other thing good about the game. The first time through is fun, that's why I gave it 4/5 for fun.

I have played COD finest hour and big red one. Each one gets better and better, but this one is the best I've played. You can fight hand to hand plus the graphics awesome!!!!! But that isn't the best part. The way you set bombs is extremely realistic and you control mortors and big guns like they realy did. As a matter of fact sometimes I forget I'm just playing a game. Take it from me you will love it.

This game is awesome! The story is based on actual combat. The actors actually discussed the game with Veterans! Guys who were there! The graphics are great, you get to not only run around killing Germans, but you get to drive tanks, jeeps, etc. This game is awesome! Make sure at the end you watch the stories of the Veterans who shared their experiences with the game makers and role players. Today is Veterans day, and I am proud to be an American and thank the Men and Women who have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice so I be able to chill and play a cool game like this one! Semper Fi!

Fun game, but not on PS2

Call of Duty is really fun, on the PC. Too bad COD3 is only made for Playstation. Difficult to aim/shoot quickly with a game pad.
