a rare tycoon that works, and has tons of replay value

I bought this game just because i love the mall, and have been waiting for a game like this for a long time. But there are so many tycoon games that have ripped of the success of Roller Coaster Tycoon and put out horrible, confusing games. well you will be relieved here. this game is not only very straightforward, but one of the most addictive and fun tycoons ive ever played. sometimes the load times get really long, and the game slows down, but other than that its a great game. you can choose from so many different types of places to put in, and research more. there are also atriums you can put in to put on special events like fashion shows, car shows, roller coasters, train rides, santa claus, and more. you can choose differnet layouts from boutiques to department stores, and choose from a vast number of wallpapers and tiles for the floor. the graphics are good, but not great, but shouldnt be a problem. it is also chock full of scenarios to keep you occupied, as well as freeplay, to build the mall from scratch with plenty of money to build a great mall. its not too easy or too hard, and its just a solid game over all. you can also put in restaurants, playgrounds, movie theatres, etc. its great! you gotta get it!

If you loved Roller coaster Tycoon this is a must.

If your a roller coaster tycoon fan buy this game. It is the same thing as roller coaster tycoon but you build a mall. You can get security, janitor, and merry go rounds in your mall. Also you can get a roller coaster in your mall because every tycoon must have a roller coaster.This game is the best.

First, I must make my disclaimer...I HAVE NOT PLAYED THIS GAME! I have only viewed the box and demo inside of Electronics Boutique at the mall. It looks like a very fun game, along the lines of Monopoly Tycoon. THere are a few alien like creatures, people who spray paint your stores, you direct mall promotions, designs etc. It looks good to me!! For someone who LOVES the mall, why not take it home!! Hope it lives up to the coolness it generates!!

Mall Tycoon is the ultimate simulation for your mall shoppers everywhere!!!! If you Like Shopping this game is just right for you.I love this game. Look,i know all of you are expiriencing problems,but that dosen't mean that it's a waste of money,it is the system requirements that count.System Requierements is the first thing you need to look in any PC program.The SR are on the bottom or back side of the box.If your computer does not accept those,that's why the game is not working properly.These are the system requirements for Mall Tycoon,Lemonade Tycoon and the #1 Roller Coaster Tycoon 2!:

Mall tycoon is one of the best games I ever played on the face of the planet. It all started on New Year's Eve, 2003. I was at my friend's house and he said, "Let's play mall tycoon." I replied, "O.K." Once we started playing we could not get off it until we were forced to. It was so much fun. From then on, I've been bugging my mom to try to order it off the Internet or go to Toys R Us and go get it.

So what if Mall Tycoon has a bad rap, well I have the game and it is truly fun. It's graphics aren't great, but they aren't awful. And once you get the hang of the game there are a ton of options of things for your mall. I have only been playing this game for about a week and my mall's huge. I have over 200 k already. I must admit I thought the game wasn't so good at first, but all it takes to play is some know how. I recommend for those of you that just skip over reading the instructions to actually read them because they will really help you. All in all once you get the hang of this game it is really fun.

Hello earthlings, if u guys havnt got all the tycoon games, u r krazy. They r the best! i just got this game about a week ago, and i am an 13 year old girl, who is pretty much computer-smart, and it took me about an hour to figure out the basics, building, auto wall, build stores, kewl rides and water fountains, anyway, this game is kewl, but if u wanna get a GREATER THAN EVER IMAGINED BY KIDS game, get rollercoster tycoon, it has better graphics, sound effects, and over all control over what u build, BUT, rollercoaster tycoon IS NO DOUBT harder to learn how 2 play, because you can build more, and do more, and also, rollercoaster tycoon took me a year of trying before i finally got a rollercoaster built that the people liked (not too scary, not too dull) but it was SOOOOOOOOO worth it, buy both games, PLEEEEEEEEEZ!

This game isn't as bad as people say.

I played the online demo of Mall Tycoon and because of that I am going to buy the game. These are some things you need to know before purchasing the game: if you are one of the people out there who likes to have control over every tiny thing in your little sims lives don't bother purchasing this game however if you are the kind of person into strategy and don't want to micro-manage then you should consider checking out the demo for yourself. As for the people in your game purchasing things, well when I ran the demo the little people very happily came out of the stores with little bags and tiny smiles. The control that you have in this game is more like the control you have over your sims in Rollercoaster Tycoon and less like the control you have in The Sims downtown and Old Town areas where you can control what your sims buy so if you are looking for sim control you should check out The Sims Unleashed and save this game for the times when you would rather not be your sims every waking moment.

This game is kinda cool at first but then it gets pretty boring.
Don't buy it!! If you don't get bored easily then buy this.
