This game is one of the best digimon games their is.I only wish that they would have all the characters from all the seasons of digimon in the game. But sad to say only a couple were choosen. The game is quite easy, but trying out every characters moves is the best part. Some characters from Digimon Rumble Arena were choosen to be in this game, but not many. The new characters have astonding techniques, and the old characters from Digimon Rumble Arena 1 have new techniques.I am 14 and just realy adore this game. I advise you to go buy it.It may not me the hardest game you have ever played. But it is a game that you will enjoy. Also remeber sometimes the game is not on the stores shelf. So just ask they do have it. Have a fun gaming experiemce.

This is a great improvement compared to the first one though in my opinion, they should have a more variety of the seasons. They only have Guilmon for the third season, Veemon for the second, and Flamon (mispronunciated and writted as Flamemon) for the fourth. Everyone else excluding the secret digimon's and bosses are from first season which is to my distaste. The digimon evolve to champion and ultimate. Some (Guilmon, Gabumon, Agumon, Veemon, and their black counterparts) do not go to their ultimate forms and push up to mega instead though their power is the same as the ultimates. Unlike the first rumble arena, you cannot choose one of the evolved forms. They also have better arenas than the first (and much harder arenas. Especially Cannery, Chaos Wasteland, Ice Palace, and Twisted Toytown) Cannery is where you fight on conveyer belts and if you fall into this tube on the bottom or the tubes on the sides of the wall you will come back as a helples can that can only slam on top of the opponents. Twisted Toytown is what it's named and will take you through Jack-In-The-Box claws, a duck toy that spits fire that shrinks you, cookie bridges, etc. Chaos Wasteland is where you fight on small platforms lined up and you never know when they are going to fall into the whirlpool underneath, freeze, blow wind so you fight in the air, blow flames or lightning flashes on it. This game is excellent I only wish they had more digimon from the second, third, and fourth season. The graphics are also very good. Not as good as the anime itself but decent overall.

Game for Parents and Kids....

For my son and I, this was a lot of fun to play. I know nothing about the Digimon universe or any of the characters, but it was a very fun and simple. The controls were easy to master as well as the special moves all the little Digimon characters can do.

If your kid likes playing video games and you want to play them with him this is a great game to pickup. The only bad part was for, at 31 years old, getting 'sea sickness' after playing for more than a hour.

The only downside was no cooperative play and it was...well, like the name says a big rumble arena. No fault of the game design that's just my personal preference when playing with my son.

Bottomline, if you are looking for a game to play with your kid then might want to check this out. I'd also recommend the Lego Star Wars (which has cooperative) for some more father/son entertainment.

Exellent!

I'm a 11 year old digi-fanatic and my dad bought me this game.I was very happy and i tried it out as soon as i could.i loved it! the characters are great and the arenas rock!the only things i don't like are these,i don't know how to unlock any new things and the arenas are sometimes too hard.the controls are different from my otyher games so sometimes i get confused.
this game is enjoyable and my dad,who does not know what digimon are liked this game.this is great for all ages and there is NO SWEARING!YAY!although the only problem is to do multiplayer withought(you can have two physical players playing witha computor oponent or 3 people with a computor opponent or just 4 people playing at once.)2 controlers or 4 controlers and the extra controler plug thing.i only have 2 controlers and that is enough.overall this is a great game!

Hi I have played this game many of times when i rented it and it was alsome. I played it so much that everytime i play it my eyes turn red because i play it so long. I just wish like every other reviews that it had all digimon charters of all of seasons 1-3. My sixteen year old sister played this game she liked it so much as i did that she loved it. I recommend this game to any teens. Some teens might think this game is lame and it is for little kids but when you try it you will change. Got to buy this game.

I bought the game because i liked it so much

*---A 13 Year Old's Review---*

Digimon is just for kids? I don't think so! All the game review websites got it all wrong! They say this game sucks but from what I've seen its one of the better fighting games for all ages out there.

Game Length- It is very short, I think the creators could have put in more digimon like Renamon (Renamon was in the first game) or Kumamon. More stages and unlockables would have been a nice touch as well. I beat the game the day after I got it.

Graphics and Sound- The graphics and voice-overs are great! But they changed Patamon's and Calumon's voice >_< I hate their new voices. The music can get old sort of fast.

Gameplay- It's child's play on easy mode but on hard mode those adorable critters turn into killing machines!

Controls- Not too hard to master. It took me around 15 minutes to get the controls down. Obviously, they did make this game for little kids.

The Camera- The only thing that really bothered me was the camera. Try playing Black Guilmon in the Pier (It's night time there) with the camera all the way zoomed out(You can't zoom in or even control the camera for that matter). Its very hard to see the digimon on the big stages, especially on dark stages.

Overall review- 4/5. Digimon Rumble Arena is a great party game for 4 and it's fun solo. I recomend it for kids AND teens.
