This is just basically an average game for a bargin bin price. If you enjoyed the first one, then you will like this one b/c they are pretty much the same. The graphics and the handling are not the best by far but playable. At first, drifting is very difficult. But once you acquire more parts and better cars, drifting becomes somewhat easier even though still a pain. Drifting in this game is not like drifting in NFSU. This title does have that Initial D feel to it though which is the main thing it has going for it. Other than that, there are many other racing titles out there worth getting more than this one. I played over halfway through this one and am getting bored with it already. It doesn't have that tremendous and exciting appeal to keep you playing through to the end and to beat all of the over 300 rivals. 365 I think.... There really isn't really enough of a reward for winning the races. Lack of excitment I guess I could say. If you want a fun racing game, get one of the NFS games instead. I actually enjoyed TXR3 and Zero way more than this game and I think you will as well.

Hello, my name is Andy Nguyen. Okay, now first of all. I'm going to review TXR Drift 2. The game is set in Japan mountains also known as touge (the birthplace of Touge drifting). These are my opinion of the game.

Pros
~Game is more realistic compare to other arcade style game. You actually have to slow down during turns. Having actual racing experience would help in this game. Not racing gaming experience like Need for speed..
~Game has feature cars license from many official companies.Car selection is good as you start with a lower end car. Also special tuner cars like MCR Skyline, NOB s15, ect..
~Game play is fun if you like Touge racing.

Netual
~Graphics are an improvement over TXR drift but nothing special. However I did like the weather effect.
~Lighting system could be improve because there is no point in turning off a car headlights when they don't do anything to improve your vision of view.

Cons
~Storyline is boring and tedious. Especially when you have to connect to the online board and read all these random post.
~If you don't have the basic knowledge of handling a car, then your screw with this game. Heres a rough guide for cornering..1.slow down for turn so that you don't exceed your tire grip 2.Let go of the gas and turn into the corner 3.Floor the pedal when you exit the corner.

Overall, I love this game because the car selection give me a lot of tunning option. The physic is good, realistic enough to let me know that I can't corner at 80+ mph through a U turn. This game isn't perfect but for the price of $15? Its worth it for TXR fans.
