and be a part of the "greatest show on earth". I have never played a racing game that you can "feel" the intensity... I introduced this game to my friends that don't know much about dirt track racing or the WoO and they are hooked. I won't put another game in my PS2 for the next 2 month's. I love it that much.

This is a very fun game to play. The only thing that is frustrating is that my game locks up all the time in career mode. I restarted it 4 times in a row and it continually locked up on me when I got to the same spot.

Along with Nascar there are no games that come close to the realism that these racers have. Sprint cars has the best car setups Ive seen or felt on any system. If you think Gran Turismo is a great game, why? This is the real deal! From car damage to tear offs this thing is cut perfectly. Career mode can go on forever and multiplayer is the biggest rush you'll have. The price is ridiculously low if you ask me. id pay full price for this one if I had to.

This Game is killer You get so sideways and just power through turns. I'm not much on sprint cars but i love this game the 2 player mode is great for you and a friend A must have for anyone who enjoys cars.

Short track speed skating - on mud

I was a bit skeptical about this game at first. I'm not really a fan of sprintcar racing in real life, mostly because I don't know much about it. But I am a fan of racing games, so I decided I'd give it a good try.

After putting in a few hours, and getting a feel for the physics, I'm impressed. It demands a lot of attention and careful maneuvering. The AI of the opponents seems fantastic, you can bump into someone and sometimes you can gain an advantage...but if you're not careful, you'll spin out of control. In short, the interaction you have with the other cars is amazing.

It reminds me of the short track speed skating event in the Olympics, only on mud and in little powerhouse cars.

Damage physics are great, possibly better than WRC, which has very good damage physics. If you roll, your wing bends and deforms. Parts of the cars can break off (and stay in the track), but you're out of the race if that happens to you, you won't be able to maintain control at speed without your wings (front and rear).

I'm a big fan of rally racing games (waiting for Colin McRea 3 and V-Rally 3), right now WRC is my favorite game, but sprintcars are a whole other beast and requires a whole new set of skills to be successful at.

I do think 'World of Outlaws' could better graphically. It would be nice if there was a bit less aliasing. But then, there's not much time to even notice as you jockey, do high-speed bumpercar, try to contain your slides, and avoid wiping out all together...you don't notice the alisaing much...the handling is superb, and the look of the cars is sweet. I'm givign it a 5 in any case because it's a one of a kind racing experience.

This racing game by far beats everyone of the racing games on the market. Especially that sorry one just made a few months ago: Sprint cars Road to Knoxville. When are this gaming companies going to wise up and quit putting these generic cars on. I hate that more than anything. This game has everything my favorite is the sound package and the realistic accidents it has. Also having real cars and drivers in the game. I know this game is now only being sold by 3rd party vendors and gamers but I highly recommend any race fan purchasing this for PS2. It's well worth the money!

yes, this games been out for over 4 years, and it is still by far the best racing game ever made for the ps2. ratbag needs to put a updated version of this game out asap. simply awesome, just read the reviews.this game is only sold by third partys,but worth any price they ask.you wont be sorry. im going to buy a spare one just in case something happens to mine
