Interesting concept - Pretty cool game

I orginally bought this game because it supports 4 players. Even with a large-screen TV (55 inches), it is too difficult for each player to see enough of their scree to identify the enemies.

I do like the aiming system in this game, much better than most First Person Shooter-type games. Playing in 2 person mode is pretty good. It is difficult, but not TOO difficult to control the character in the game.

If you read my review on the PLaystation 2 I was misleading. The technical support they offered me was great, and when I recieved my Playstation, It worked like a whistle. I suggest you get a ps2, but should purchase an extended warranty plan. Anyways I am here to talk about X Squad. When my playstaion was finally working properly I played X squad with eagerness. Once I started playing I thought it was the worst shooter game I have ever played. The contols were terrible. Once I got used to the controls I learned that I enjoyed the game. It took me only 3 hours to beat the game. It is way to easy, and could use better graphics. EA games should release another X Squad but it should be awesome like Medal of Honor Frontline ( EA games also makes Medal of Honor)

The Game is pretty good. I wanted to get a shoot'em up game not like goldeneye. If you want a Syphon Filter/Tomb Raider type game this is probably your best choice yet. It has some good graphics and lots of great weapons. I also like how you have more than one person on your team. The only thing I might condemn about the game is movement of your char. At times it is to hard to move and shoot unlike others. All in all I would gave it a 4 though

The graphics are good. The controls are tricky, but once you get used to them they work well. I played all the way through twice. I enjoyed it even more the second time. Your squad gets in your way and the get themselves killed a lot, but you get them back later. Most PS2 games have been a let down. This one was fun.

EA Production Staff should be ashamed!

When purchasing the game i heard all the decent to horrible reviewes it received, but i still purchased it. Dont make the same mistake i did, X-Squad is a truly bad game which makes you second guess PS2's capabilities (at least it did for me!)

THis game is pretty good except for the fact that it is very hard and the gameplay is VERY disappointing. When i bought this game i thought it would be alot like the Tomb Riader games. It is.........except it is much more hard and borring. THe graphics are are great but once you get to the 2nd and 3rd missions, it gets really hard. If you ask me, RENT THIS ONE FIRST BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BUY!

I got this because it was cheap but my grandson loves it because he said it was way cool. He enjoys the action and role playing. Easy to understand and graphic are well done.

I think X squad is a very interesting and at the same time hard. I would probably recommend it to someone about 10 or 11, and someone who is willing to sit down for hours and just play. I like the next generation guns missle launchers cool shotguns ray guns that mkes it very fun for young people.
