Failed Attempted Frenzy

1 Rating: 1, Useful: 7 / 22

This game is not up to the standard of the other x-box titles. The graphics are bland, the landscapes are dull & boring. There are many other games being launched at the same time as this one. I would wait for something a bit more "Next Generation".

Fuzion Frenzy pulls off Multiplayer Action

Fuzion Frenzy brings the "party" style action game to the Xbox. A good deal of the games available for today's systems are complex and in depth, and don't offer the kind of quick 'n fun action that comprise a good party game. With support for up to 4 players, Fuzion Frenzy brings around forty mini-games in a futuristic city environment to the home. Anybody who's played Marble Madness, The original Tron videogame, or Beat Mania (PSX game from Japan) will enjoy the wide variety of competitive and cooperative challenges presented. Graphics on the revision of the game that I played stayed at a constant 60 fps, and had excellent lighting effects. The madcap "American Gladiators" gameshow atmosphere lends a lot to the atmosphere, especially if you've got 3 other live contestants. When this game releases, if you ever intend to throw a party and have people playing on your Xbox, this is the game to have. The games are simple and fun to learn, with each offering differing challenges for different types of players. Sumo was one of the most dramatic, as the longer you stay on the playing field, the smaller it gets!

If you intend to buy the Xbox and play it by yourself, this may be a title that you want to stay away from.

Fun for kids, great set of games, simple and refreshing!

I enjoyed this game. It was cute, it has basically a couple dozen or so games all in one. There are a bunch of different littler games which one or more players could compete at a different goal. You switch between the various games and compete to get the most points. This is a wonderful game for kids and lots of fun to play with a bunch of friends. This reminded me of the simplicity of the early videogames like pacman and pong, lots of fun without a ton of added complexity and a huge ramp up time to learn bizarre controls. The goals are varied, new and interesting and the settings are cool and imaginative. I highly recommend it.

This is a great party game for you and three of your buddies. I know, it doesn't look like it from the screen shots but this game is an absolute blast!

If you have a group of friends who are competitive, you'll have a lot of fun playing this game. The games are relatively quick, and there will be plenty of time to taunt or trash talk your best friend that you just spanked.

This is going to be a sleeper hit for the xbox.

This game redfefines party games

This has to be the best party game to date. One of the best parts of the game is the single player surprisingly, which offers twice the depth of Mario Party. But the best part is the Muiltiplayer. The games are incredibly fun and offers some classic arcade games with new spins, such as super sprint, marble madness, combat, and even Tron. I personally have enjoyed the Sumo the most! Anyways, this is a hopelessly addictive game that can be played and enjoyed by all gamers. Two thumbs up here.

This is a game i've been looking for. I like party games and this one is great with a group of friends. The graphics aren't that stunning but the gameplay and the fun you could have with it, is incredible! With a group of friends, this game will never get old.

Worst Game On X-Box

Take it from me, this game is very bad. The animations & gameplay are not good at all. This would work as a PlayStation game, how can it be on X-Box? The graphics are bad also.

True Testimonial

Unlike most of the reviewers here, I've played this fantastic game at XBox Unleashed in LA. This game is beautiful with smooth animation and fantastic sets. Far better than Mario Party the minigames here shine, the games are all intuitive for the most part, and after a few rounds, competition is fierce for all games.

You do everything from variations of Tron, to old fashioned shooting galleries, to Toobin style races, Tank battles, Parappa style competitions, to vicious versions of Tag, protecting burgers from bugs, SUMO, and classic games seen on the old American Gladiators. That's only a small sample. This game is a blast.

This game delivers -- it's a fun party game.

I bought this on impulse when I picked up my pre-ordered system. The previews I had read about it were all generally favorable. I haven't been disappointed; I'm still playing it both alone and with friends.
But it definitely works better as a party game -- my biggest complaint is that the computer opponents seem to rarely make mistakes even on 'easy'. For example, one of the most challenging scenarios we've encountered is Prop Rotation, where you have to collect tokens while jumping over or ducking under the propellor blades (getting hit = loss of tokens). The computer's scores were about 10- to 20- times our scores, and I don't think we're so bad at playing games....
Pluses are lots of variety, some genuinely fun & silly mini-games, and a few great retro games thrown in (can't believe no one's mentioned the homage to Combat here yet!) I don't mind the graphics because the gameplay is very smooth even when there's a lot of action happening everywhere, which leads to complaint #2 -- sometimes the characters get lost in the screen because it's zoomed back so far.
Overall I'm glad I got this game, and expect to be playing it for some time to come.

Fusion Frenzy was the High Light of our Party

Saturday Night, Nov 17th, we had a mini lan party playing an X-Box a friend brought over. With 7 guys and me (the lone female this game entertained us for 5-7 hours, and could have been longer. These guys normally all play Quake, Half Life and other CTF games. This game is not one of them, but still entertained them!
There is 40 games with in this game. Some are like Gladiator (the show) with the Hamster Cages, some are small boat racing, and some are like Mario Brothers 2. It was very high energy and everyone wanted a controller, looser had to give it up to the next player. It was a game I know I'll buy when we get an X-Box of our own. It is worth every penny to have this game that does not get old, becaue you have other games to choose from with in it
