Another tired Wizard Works piece of crap. You've heard of diploma mills before right? Well, this company is in the game mill business. They believe quantity (the more cheap games they put out the better their chances at profit) is better than quality. After playing the Deer Hunter games I should have known better, but I too was drawn in by the title. Everyone else that disliked this dog pretty much summed up the bad elements. So I'll just add that you might as well spend the ... and go see the movie 'Pearl Harbor' with your buddies/girlfriend/wife/whatever. Great flick, horrible game.

If you view this as a simple arcade time wasting game then it is ok. If you are looking for a serious game then it is not for you.

You man the AA guns on a ship and shoot at attacking planes. At first they are easy then they start dodging more.

It is unrealistic as the planes stay till they are shot down. You can shoot friendly ships they look like they are taking damage but it doesn't seem to matter.

The graphics are a little old. Get the patch as it makes the graphics better.

Other then that as I said it is an ok time wasting game.

This game is such great fun! Great Price Too!!! I love the planes especially. I played for hours and hours and missed work!!! I hope they make a sequel.

when you first play this game, it's a little bit fun. but when you play it a little more than a bit, it gets very dull and boring. the graphics are poor and i dont really like the object of the game: to shoot endless amounts of planes until the commander guy tells you to stop.

This game is highly recommended for those who enjoy the thrill of battle and can still stay alive! The reason for the 3 stars is because the game has a problem with graphic representations with the Voodoo3 3D cards. On the CD, they give 2 (that I've found so far) different websites for updates and patches. Neither has information on this particular game. The readme file and the little book that comes with the game doesn't tell you all the controls you can use for the game and there is no joystick selection available, its all done with your mouse. But regardless of these factors, the game is fun and really gets you into the action quickly.

My grandfather was aboard the USS Maryland Battleship while it was stationed in Pearl Harbor. He experienced firsthand, the relentless attacks of the kamikazee pilots as a gunner's mate and was fortunate to survive the attack. Although his eyesight is not a sharp as it was back then, his eye's lit up when he watched me take over as gunner while playing this adrenalin charging game. I believe I saw tears welling up in his old eyes as the realism of the game brought back the experience to him, even though he was merely watching me play. All simulation games should be this realistic and well designed. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a history buff or is need of a good adrenalin rush.

I've played this game at a friends house and it rocked! It was the coolest game! It was very realistic, putting you in the main gunners point of veiw. So, I went out and bought it. When I tried to install it, though, it didn't work. I tried it over and over, but it says it needs something called directX8 to run. Great game, but if you don't have directX8, your out of luck.
