NOTHING like I had expected!

I have played a demo of this game online, which turned out to be done in cartoon graphics. There's the FIRST problem. This game by ALL means should use 3-D graphics if they want to be able to compete AT ALL in the gaming world. Secondly, the demo consisted of you (the player) working at a Dairy Queen, and all you're doing is trying to match up the order to what's pictured in the little bubble above the customer's head. It's not challenging, and really not even fun. And if that's the BEST they could come up with as a demo using a little tidbit of the game, then I would HIGHLY recommend saving your money for something else.

This is a game that is intended to offer the Apprentice show in a environment that can best be described as for kids 13 and under.
The game has all the parts that the actual apprentice has such as challenges, the boardroom, being hired at the end and so on but that's about all thats good about it.
The graphics on it are similar to graphics you would get back in 1996-1997 on an average RPG game. The game itself is less than 50 mb so, as you can imagine it is not at all for the ones that like a very entertaining visual background. The game is fun to play once, twice maybe 3 times if you are an adult but that it about it unless you are a die-hard fan of the show and "must" have the game about it.
Now on to the challenges, which are not really all that challenging. I played the game 3 or 4 times and beat all 7 challenges on the hardest setting because all the challenges are very arcade-style early 1990's era and very simple in design. One challenge for example requires you to go to certain parts of NY city such as Soho, Midtown, etc and sell items. This part is about as proffesionally done as the game drugwars for those who played it. It features a subway and you go from place to place click on stores and you buy or dont buy, sell or don't sell.
Another challenge would be to build things. They give you an assembly line and they show you a blueprint of how to build lampshades or toys, etc. and you have to make a minimum of them in a certain time by arranging all the pieces. Even if I said blueprint, don't get that excited, it's not complicated. One blueprint for a rabbit would be: head, middle, feet.
Personally , I would say that unless you are a fan of the show or you want to buy this for a kid , or just don't have anything else to do with your spare time don't buy this game. This is just one of the examples of many games companies put out there nowadays for $19.99 which cost them a lot less then the 29.99 games such as World of Warcraft which are a lot more exciting.

Disappointing

This game was a real dissapointment, especially coming from "The Donald".
I expected a game with more depth, challenge, and closer to the type of assignments that are given on the show. The "challenges" were boring and juvenile. Did Mr. Trump play the game himself before giving the OK?

I am glad I did not pay full price for this game. Is not worth it.

Definitely a game for kids...

If you go to the games on msn, you can download a free trial. There you can see that it is definitely for kids. BUT, the kids really love it! There is no shooting, killing, fighting, sex, swearing, etc. The kids enjoy it, there are some puzzles, some math, some coordination exercises. If you've got kids between 8 and 14 that somehow got caught up in the wave of the show, buy it and be happy. The next thing they ask for will certainly not be as benign.

You're Fired!!!

I purchased The Apprentice computer game after having so much fun and excitement from the Law and Order computer game. However, The Apprentice was just not the same. The "cheesy" repetitive quotes from Donald and the others was bad enough, but the entire game lacked the excitement of the television show. There are only three basic "tasks" which happen to appear with marginal variation: 1-prepare some kind of food (burgers or spaghetti) 2-unscramble some picture 3-put together a lamp (or toy). And then, the boardroom scene is a word scramble. PLEASE! My cell phone has better games on it than this one! All I have to say to THIS Apprentice Game is "You're Fired!!!"
