What I really like about this game is that, it doesn't only give the choice of playing campaigns from the actual movies, it also includes campaigns that happen after episode 6. The graphics are some what exceptional, and it is way better than the first version of StarWars Galactic Battlegrounds. I mean, COME ON!!!, sure the first version was cool, but you didn't have the two new civilizations, the Republic and the Confederacy, and you had a limited amount of upgrades.

The multi player is O.K., but it doesn't actually pause and the real time goes faster than you want it to.

Creating your own scenario is exciting to. But figuring out how the triggers work takes a lot of practice and skill. The really cool part about scenario editing is that you can have as many units as you want out on the battle field.

You can also decide your settings and difficulty level on a standard game. On a standard game you can choose from one of eight civilizations, build your army, and defeat your enemies!

Overall, this game rocks!, and I give it 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!!

While Galactic Battlegrounds gets on the right RTS road, it doesn't go the distance. In a nutshell, it feels like an AoE mod more than a stand-alone game. A few improvements to the unit AI and some tweaking of structural hit points and we just might have a solid Star Wars RTS on our hands.

When I got the first galactic battle grounds I was astounded: easy controls, several great civilizations, and more! But when the clone campaigns came out, I went crazy. It's not a game you play once, then put it away forever. I got that game 2 years ago, and I still play it.

unfortunately, every game has pros and cons.
Pros
-Great, unique units for every civilization
-Over 35 missions
-Computer players can be set to easiest, easy, medium, and hard

Cons
-Computers at times can be dense
-Melee fighting graphics not realistic
-Some of your own weapons can hurt your own soldiers

But, Overall, great game.

the best part is brand new stuff like the a-wing, a "unique" rebel air unit, the tantive 4, the imperial star destroyer, and the death star! and yes, it really can blow everything up.

Star Wars + Age of Empires II = Clone Campaigns

If you combine Age of Empires or AOEII and Star Wars Universe, you get Star Wars: Galactinc Battlegrounds (Clone Campaigns). You dont need a fast or even average PC to play this game. Graphics are just enormously beautiful and its kinda fun to see little fight between a jedi master and a bounty hunter but the point is it has everything a strategy game has to offer.
If you start a mission from scratch, you know some workers and a command center and somebody to protect your workers, it will take awhile...ok like 3 hours or so to get to tech level 4 (highest) and build a huge army to destroy your opponent's humungous base!!! But the action is pretty sweet. It amkes you feel like a Star Wars god (i know there is no Star Wars god but...just bear with me here). You can play any campaigns you want from the original star wars trilogy, and episode i and ii. not all the levels are original and old ones but most of them are new and they somewhat will tend you to give you some idea for episode iii setting and tell you something about what happened from first death star to second death star in the original trilogy. so what are you waiting for? stop reading this and click on BUY...

This game is so much better then AOE,I love it ,I play it all Friday night and Saturday, but my computer recently broke!Super Crude...The one major flaw is the enemy air craft can fly over your walls, SO WHY BUILD THEM[.]??? The best thing is the new "monks" are JEDI KNIGHTS!AWESOME!The Jedi can attack, convert, and carry "relics", now Jedi Holograms! The game is SWEET!I so love it, my mom has to tell me twice to get off of it! HA!HA!This is The best(personly)game Lucasfilm Entertainment has ever made! Dude! It just blows me out! MAN! The civlitains are pretty cool, with the Rebs being the(again, personly)best of the bunch. The Republic has the best Jedi Knights, they even have
Jedi Masters!(Although the Jedi Masters cost twice more then the Jedi Kinghts.)(The Jedi Kinghts cost 225 Nova crystals, or 225 "Gold" in AOE)The Jedi Masters so rock! I like to type in "forcenova" 10 times and make like 10 Jedi Masters, then go and kick bigtime...... Get this game while it's hot! Hurry! It is totally awesome! One Good thing in it is that in AOEII you can queue your farms to replant by themselves, well you could only queue like 20 farms at a time, well, SWCC()Star Wars Clone Campaigns)let's you queue like 30 or more! I love that! The Gungans are cool because they can build "houses"(now called "Prefab Shelters")under water! Or, in lakes! The Royal Naboo is okay but their air so kicks..... The Galactic Empire's "seige workshop" units So(again)kicks.... The Wookies Troopers so(and again)kick Bigtime.... The Reb's "workers"(now droids except for The Condfedrcy)are better at farming then the others. The Trade Fedration are like the Huns in AOEII, they don't need houses! Oh yeah! The Confedrcy(run by Count Dooko)is kinda like the middle guys, they don't really have any unique power. The Republic also have Clone Troopers! They so Rock! Get this game now! What are you waiting for!!?? Get this game!

Very fine addition to a decent game

The expansion to Galactic Battlegrounds was an improvement. The gameplay, additional sounds and the new civilizations make it worth the buy. I play this game online a few hours everyday, so you could say I find it pretty addicting. It really isn't a bad game at all.
