Fun for a while but an incredible disappointment...

Ok look, I love the HULK and everything but this game is just not satisfactory... It is fun to run around and bash things for a while but after a while it gets very repetitive.

First off I found the game control to be incredibly horrible. You can't even use the mouse while playing the game! You have to use a keyboard or controller. The camera moves around and you don't have the ability to control it, sometimes you can't even see what is attacking you! The game also uses the lock onto target system which does not make any sense to me since you are not using a gun. It seems like they used it only because the controls are so bad it's hard to hit anything. Maybe it's just because I am used to 1st Person PC games. If you like the standard console game interfaces and you have a good controller, you will probably be fine with it.

I found the Banner parts to be incredibly boring. You cant even jump and you have to sneak around and avoid everything. I know they were trying to add some stealth and strategy but I do not think they added any depth. Honestly I can't truly judge the banner parts because I used the cheats to skip them.

The story is not conveyed that well. They use text in-between parts when they should have at least conveyed it through animation or even better just through real time game actions and dialog. It really takes away from the mood. It is however useful to quickly figure out what is going on if you want to skip the Banner parts.

The game was incredibly short. I beat it in one day, I was not keeping track of time but I think it was about 5 hours. Of course I skipped the Banner parts. ;-)

The end bosses were easily beaten. I seriously only hit some of them a few times and it was over in seconds. I think the first boss I fought, the vampire guy, actually put up a fight but that was about it. The tanks were harder to take out then the super villains!

The other complaint I have is that the color pallet is too low or something. The animations and game play look all washed out.

Ok, with all that being said, it is the HULK! Its still fun to stomp, clap, smash, bash and throw your enemies around. It's also fun to pick up, throw and break almost everything in the game. They have some fun little challenge games that can be played, for example, see how much stuff you can break in 5 minutes. The physics and particle systems are cool too. I also like how they used the voices from the actual actors. They have some media relating to the movie which is also a nice feature, except there is a glitch and the images fly by really fast... I also enjoyed the cheat that allows you to play as the gray hulk with his sly remarks...

The bottom line is that it's fun for a wile, just make sure you are ok with the controls and don't expect a lot of play time or depth to the story or great end boss battles...

GODDDDDDD!

For God's sake did anyone else realize how incredibly stupid this game was?! The first time its okay because lets face it, it was a new game so you were dying to play. After awile you actualy start to realize how boring this game really is. Ex. Level: chemical effect, the guard who betty brant knocked out had a gun and when you put on his suit, guess what...it ain't there! Don't waste your money.

A fun, action packed game. And that was just the demo.

This game is loads of fun. I downloaded and played the demo and enjoyed the limited amount of play I got from this game. If the full version is ANY better than the demo, then this game is worth buying...

Very Good, a few flaws. A solid B or B+

Ignore the "it doesn't work" reviews. Check the sys requirements and update your drivers etc etc blah blah. On to the game review:
Overall, quite fun. Get the cheat codes to help with (or skip) the Banner levels, which suck, but comprise only a small part of the game. The Hulk levels are great fun, though. Be sure to learn the combos or the enemies might kill you rapidly and the fighting can get repetative. The camera can be irritating, and the music could be better, but these are nitpick details, and overall, I highly recommend the Hulk. It's a good value for the dollar, too. It really is a good fun game.

This game requires a 3D Accelerator Card. But it's pro

This game requires a 3D Accelerator Card. If you want to play this on your computer you'll want to buy one. Judging by the PC version Screen Shots it will probably require a 32mb or a 64 mb 3D Accelerator Card with full Transform and Lightening. It'll be the first Hulk game made for PC. I plan to buy it. I think that you'll be able to play as the Gray Hulk in this game also.

Camera angles by Escher

My enthusiasm for the film and even the demo version notwithstanding, this PC game is a dog, no, it's a Gamma Green Hulk-Dog.

Imagine the worst, most annoying camera angles imaginable,
impossible "puzzles" that would've made Banner Hulk-out given the frustration level (and I'm good with puzzles, if my experience with JKII: Outcast is a gauge),
and repetitive, deployment of the game's cannon fodder of Special Ops soldiers.

There are well-designed villains in this game, but even in the unlocked modes, you can't play them. The first-person view option is poorly executed, since you can't do much in first-person except look around. The vaunted destructability of the environment is very limited. Finally the game is about linear as anything out of 1995. Why you need 3 CDs to play this game escapes me.

Great game

This is a great game. I agree with some other who wrote a review, that the camera can be very annoying, you just get confuse where you are... can't beat it, great value also free shipping. so overall, not a bad game at all. GET IT......

Uhh, I Bet It Would Be A Great Game If It Actually Worked

I recieved The Hulk comp game as a gift for straight A's in school and I am very upset it didn't work on my comp. It says right on the bottom of the box it can work on my comp but NOO, it doesn't. I bring it back to Target the next day and got another one. Doesn't work either. Now I'm stuck with a software game that looks extremely promising and fun but won't work. And I can't do anything about it. So remember my story when you think u wanna buy this game. Good luck!

This is an extremely bad computer game. The first time you play it is okay, but the second time you realize how boring it is. There is no challenge in the game at all. The only reason I gave it one star was because it had one okay level, and it has somewhat good graphics. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!

Great Game

I thought this game was a great change from the ever boring "First Person Shooter" type games in which all you do is run around watching the end of whatever gun your carrying. OOOooo.... you picked up a bigger gun and some ammo.. same game... different gun.

I actually enjoyed the change in camera angles. It keeps the game from being a left right up down type deal which I find very boring. Gives you different angles on the action... especially when your bashing somthings head in.

The game is original, new, and interesting... not just grab a gun and shoot stuff....P>J
