If you like a challenge this is the game for you! I first played this online and got hooked. After using up all the free trials on various game sites I decided to go out and purchase the full version. I am not at all disappointed that I did. Even my 10 and 11 year olds have spent lots of time with this game. You get so into it, you lose all track of time. Do not hesitate to buy this game, you will no regret it.

Diner Dash 2 is more exciting and adventurous than the original. If you're a fan of the original, you will probably like this one as well. It starts out as a big company trying to take over 4 restaurants and they all have one thing in common. They are friends with Flo. She helps them gain money for their restaurant to get upgrades. There is an upgrade after you complete every level and if you get the expert score on that level, you unlock a special upgrade.

The restaurants are an outside cafe, a pizza place, a Mexican restaurant, and a Suishi restaurant. Then, there is a surprise restaurant in the end.

This game introduces new concepts that the first didn't. There is the introduction of serving appetizers and deserts. There are also new types of people including families which you have to give high chairs too and they might make messes so you have to use a mop. The other types of people are business woman, senior citizens, bookworms, and cell phone addicts. There are also plenty of new upgrades including a podium to keep waiting customers happy and a bar to sit people at.

This game is filled with new adventures and new people. If you like the first one, you will definetly like this one because it is more challenging and it has a change of scenery after every 10 levels.

This is a lot of fun to play. It's quick, but not blazing fast, and you don't have to be a game whiz to get good scores. It's more about strategy than speed.

My husband and I are addicted to these games. One would think that after waiting on children all day, I would find something better to play. Maybe it's because I can shut this off at any time! :0)

My girls (7 and 11) are pretty tough customers when it comes to video games. This one is certainly their favorite, however. It's quite similar to the first edition, but has a number of additional challenges including crying babies and ringing cell phones to annoy the customers! As they progress in skill, players are rewarded with options to purchase better equipment, faster chefs, and decorations to attract more customers. Not brain surgery by any stretch, but certainly beats Pac Man for educational value! Highly recommended.

I first played this game online and got really hooked. The tasks are simple minded, but for some reason it is a relief from life to just concentrate on these things.
Love it. Plan to get Cake Mania too.

I loved this sequel to the first game and it's so much fun even though I beat it very quickly.

It would be fun if they came up with an online version where your friends could try and sabotage your diner or something like that. lol

Addictive!

This is a great game. If you don't have a couple of hours to waste sitting in front of your computer, don't buy this game. I recommend this game to any and everyone!
