This is a good collection of games for a break in the day, or a brain challenge to keep you on your toes. It's quick, fun, and provides a variety of choices for you to spend a little "play" time.

Graphically The Same As 2005, 2007...Still Definitive Hoyle Card Game. Fun for playing alone (many talking, animated opponents and partners to choose from), and owning the game also lets you use your own characters, card designs, and backgrounds on Hoyle's on-line playing site at Sierra.

This is a fun product. I bought it to play Bridge and expected a rather tame game. Althought the Bridge part does not compare with Bicycle software in difficulty, it makes up in variety and personality. As well as Bridge,I play Hearts, Spades and Cribbage. Each with varied partners who not only speak during and about the game, but make funny comments ragarding other players. This adds to the realty of the competition. It is really a time waster.

This game is both fun and insightful. It actually teaches you how to play casino games without loosing your own money. When my sister-in-law and I are getting ready to go to a casino with our other friends, we use the game to help us bone up on some of the rules. It helps us to not lose all our money.

Boardroom:

Suit A: How can we rake in lots of extra dollars from unsuspecting gamers?

Suit B: I Know, lets change the year and the box, throw in some different backgrounds and sell it.

Suit A: Brilliant! why did we not think of that last year?

Suit B: We did.

Suit A: Did we? OK lets roll with it.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS YOU CANNOT SAVE A GAME AND RETURN TO IT LATER. WHEN YOU BEGIN AGAIN THE OPPOSING PLAYERS MONEY TOTALS ARE RENEWED. I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THE COMPANY AND HAVE POSTED THIS ON THEIR BULLETIN BOARD.

I enjoy this game very much, as do others to come to my house. This particular box I recently bought for a friend was not compatible with his laptop PC for some reason. It works fine on my desk computer though.

Let me start by saying that the graphics and audio interaction is nice. However, that is where it ends. They have removed some of the video slots that were on the old version and as far as the poker goes? This is the most non-dealing version I have ever seen. I have played some poker in real life and I have never gone so many hands without even a pair, had so many "high card" hands in a row and seen so many flushes, full houses and four of a kind hands as the "computer players" get in a tournament. I was really disappointed in this version. I have faithfully bought the new versions each time they came out, however I have doubts about doing it again. Sierra/Hoyle let me down this time.
